Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 28, 2015 10:00 pm Good evening everyone! My first post here. We're building a new Emporio 430. Signed the tender and contract today, yay! Re: Building a new Mainvue Emporio 430 3Sep 02, 2015 2:35 pm Hi, we are also building a 430 and just signed contracts - when are you expecting build to start? We can race! I keep meaning to start my thread what facade have you gone with? Many structural changes? Re: Building a new Mainvue Emporio 430 4Dec 25, 2015 4:28 pm We've got a perfect Christmas gift this year - our land settled yesterday - Christmas eve...!!! yay!!! We're hopeful that the build will commence in February - at least that's what we've been told by Mainvue. @Vino - Has your build started? We've done very few structural changes - added an ensuite between bedrooms 2 & 3, closed off the second entrance to the butler's pantry and some little ones here and there. How about yourselves? Many changes? viewtopic.php?f=31&t=79589&p=1424915#p1424915 Re: Building a new Mainvue Emporio 430 5Mar 07, 2016 7:27 am The construction has begun! Site Cut - Done! Drainage Pipes - Laid! Slab pour - 09/03 The construction supervisor is confident the house will be up in three months... It worries me a bit, three months for a double storey? Any idea how long does it usually take? Re: Building a new Mainvue Emporio 430 6Mar 08, 2016 8:40 am Congrats! How exciting. What does SS mean by 'up' - we did slab mid Oct and had frame wrapped by end of Jan (and that included Xmas obviously).
