Unfortunately it's Sherwin Williams (RIP Masters Hardware). Not sure if you can get it anywhere else in Aus. Such a shame, lovely thick paint. I can't remember the exact colour, I can check the tin if you like. I mixed a four litre tin with about 2 litres of Dulux Stowe white. Re: Let's do it all again 53Feb 06, 2017 11:08 pm Hello, I love your features and details. Don't know the names of it all, but the wood panelling, rail thingy, window seat etc. What style is it? We are in the process of designing a (sort of) Hamptons inspired house. Looking forward to seeing your completed home! Let's do it all again 54Feb 06, 2017 11:27 pm Thanks Hillsbuild! Ours is supposed to be a mix of Hamptons/rustic/shabby chic. We built about 8 years ago, then I started painting furniture shabby-chic-ish. . . The house was just too modern and shiny, so this time we're going for something a bit more rustic & classic, hopefully it won't date so much. I have three dogs and a grubby fingered bloke who breaks things, so I like timber furniture as you can make it beautiful again with a fresh coat of paint. P.s. Looked for your thread, but alas, nothing! You should start one, show us your plans! You're the same Jodge that started the House Orientation thread! It was so useful, as I'm trying to incorporate as much passive design into our house as possible. Would love it if you looked through my design! I'm getting it back from architect later this week and was thinking to start my thread then, or maybe put it into the custom design thread. Btw I was also happy to see your weatherboards, as there's not many such houses like that on this forum. I'm hoping to have reverse brick veneer. Re: Let's do it all again 58Feb 07, 2017 6:56 am Da daaaa Hilssbuild! Certainly was, few years ago now. I'm glad you found it useful, though I think you probably know more than me. Yes, start your own thread, please, and post your plan up on the custom design thread too. Would love to see what you have come up with. Reverse brick veneer, I've heard of it but have never seen one. We love the weatherboard. I think a lot of people steer clear because of the maintenance. Re: Let's do it all again 60Sep 22, 2017 2:03 pm As I live and breathe!!???? ???????? JODGE???????? My dear friend Jodge, YOU ARE AT IT AGAIN!!! I remember all your lovely, shiny brown and how much you loved it!!!! You had so many incredible insights and tips to consider, I was so, so thankful I had your incessantly chirpy sarcasm, which was sometimes continual even! 😇🙂 Even if I was up in the middle of the night, poring over the plan or the build project, she was all the time, non-stop there. You would crack a funny, make me accountable, round the clock, without a break....... I hope you are well my friend and without a doubt one hundred percent still my favourite person to talk to about building......!!!!! Look at you with your exposed beams and ceiling height fireplace!!!???? Very different and yet still very you. Beautiful.
