Hoping someone can help me out with this frame issue. I haven't used a building inspector as the house is being built in a rural area and struggled to find someone local that could fit in with the build schedule.
Noticed that a stud had been cut to fit the breather pipe, which meant that the stud wasn't actually fixed to anything at the bottom and was just 'hanging there'.
Here's what it looked like:

Mentioned this to SS and he said it would be fixed, however now that the plaster has gone up I've noticed it wasn't fixed:

Am going to bring it up again with the SS, but am hoping someone can help me with the regulation side of things just so I know where I stand. To me it should be fixed otherwise the spacing between the 2 full length studs is ~800mm.
Any input would be appreciated
