We all are saving up for the deposit and looking forward to a few more months of delay too:) Do you know we need to pay stamp duty with in 15months of contract date or within 3 months of registration which I reckon would work out 21months approx. I will do some research on the double storey steel frame... What difference does steel frame make? Re stamp duty I believe CiscoSky has answered the question however best to ask your solicitor? I believe we will be asking the solicitor as well. I will let you know as soon as I know what the solicitor says. It's about 8-10k expensive but this would be paid off itself with savings in insurance premium.. Will ask my solicitor about SD .. I never asked him why he was considering steel frames at the time...
