Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 05, 2015 11:09 am Hi I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with fences being in the wrong spot, in particular the developer's retaining wall/fence. Our builder has just done a survey and found the developers fence is 600mm into our property, essentially cutting off 6m3 of our land equating to $9500. Given it is a 220sqm block this is a chunk of our yard. It is the back fence on a ridge so no one will build behind us. Appreciate if anyone has any advice or thoughts. We have emailed the seller to say the useable land is not what was in the contract of sale. They are going back to their surveyor to see what went wrong.
