Re: Allara estate Eglinton 23Sep 24, 2015 12:54 pm Just wondering how your formal approval is coming along Should be any day now Re: Allara estate Eglinton 24Sep 24, 2015 3:16 pm Hi, I'm sending all my documents to my mortgage broker tomorrow and as soon as she receives them she is going to apply to ANZ. There will probably be a delay with it being a long weekend so it's just a waiting game then..... anxious times ahead... lol.... Re: Allara estate Eglinton 26Oct 14, 2015 5:12 pm Yay Was just up there today walking around our house Tin roof up and electrical cables in Can't wait to see your block starting to become busy with workers Soon to be neighbours Re: Allara estate Eglinton 27Oct 14, 2015 7:19 pm I know i can't wait. ..... not sure how long it will take to get slab down.. still have prestart to do first. Your house is comming along beautifully. You must have been excited about the roof going on... What colour is your roof? Ive decided on Wallaby for mine at this stage.... looking forward to being neighbours... Re: Allara estate Eglinton 28Oct 21, 2015 6:34 pm Hi Shale grey is our roof colour and can't remember the gutter colour But I think the facia of gutters is shale grey also Received an email today to say there is 31 homes currently under construction and about the parks etc if you didn't receive one I will forward mine off to you Re: Allara estate Eglinton 29Oct 21, 2015 6:44 pm Hi Yeah I got that email too. Very exciting. Hopefully it will be a lovely estate when its completed. Shale grey is a lovely colour. I'm having that for my 1st render colour. Do you think you'll be that 1st resident that the news letter mentions? I wasn't been able to go to the block last weekend as my mum is in hospital so its been a bit crazy here. Hope the progress is moving along nicely with your build. Re: Allara estate Eglinton 30Oct 22, 2015 5:53 pm We started off as I think the 5th to have slab down then the third to have bricks up and now 2nd to have roof up Race is on I've noticed that the toilet door frames/hinges have been put on wrong toilets and that there is now a brick broken up on roof line and a nail from timbers exposed so hope that builder gets onto them soon If I remember correctly I think shale grey is also our 1st render choice Hope your mum is going ok Can't wait to see your slab go down it takes ages for that first initial sign of progress on the block Re: Allara estate Eglinton 31Oct 23, 2015 12:53 am Mum is on the mend thanks... Hope the tradies get your issues fixed quickly ( i have all that to look forward to ) Shale Grey is a lovely colour. ...nice and neutral so it should look good when finished. Sent off my signed settlement documents to settlement agent and ANZ today. Prestart booked for 30th October... its all happening... got to have a really good look at my house plans to organise my electrical plan before prestart . .. not enough hours in the day.... haha 🏠 Re: Allara estate Eglinton 33Nov 02, 2015 6:12 pm Whoo hoo How exciting Hopefully pre start went well I think it was about 6 weeks after Prestart when our slab went down Re: Allara estate Eglinton 34Nov 02, 2015 6:33 pm Wow that was quick.... 6 weeks... They reckon early January at this stage.... Prestart went well but lucky I went prepared as the consultant rushed through everything and wasn't very friendly. She said I will need to do my own retaining wall as it doesnt continue along entire block. She quoted $5595, I nearly had a heart attack. .... so spoke to Beau on the weekend and he told me the new style colourbond fencing that we are all having has an in built retainer so I don't have to do or pay anything extra. PS: your place is looking amazing!!! Re: Allara estate Eglinton 35Nov 02, 2015 7:23 pm Maybe because it's over Xmas holiday period that it may take longer I'm happy you said about fence as hubby was going up to question this himself Thankyou a lot of stress went into the house and saving and prep work and noticing a few bits that are broken or put on wrong But I keep sending pictures back to WOW homes so at least they know I'm onto it Re: Allara estate Eglinton 36Nov 02, 2015 7:43 pm Yeah i will be going over my build with a fine tooth comb, haha.... I'm learning a lot of what ro look out for by being on this site.... Apparently Eden Beach and us are the first to get this new style of fencing.... Re: Allara estate Eglinton 38Nov 06, 2015 5:05 pm Great idea... will remember that I'm a bit annoyed today as Redink called to say my elevation doesn't comply after telling me it does, as i need 2 materials on the front . I knew this already so i had render to front and timber cladding on gable... now apparently it needs to be on the actual front of house. .. Will have to re think everything now. .... Bugger..... not happy Re: Allara estate Eglinton 39Nov 08, 2015 11:46 pm When do you get to re-do your front elevation Hope it doesn't put you further behind Re: Allara estate Eglinton 40Nov 09, 2015 1:19 am Hopefully its just a case of informing Redink of the change ( I will just make the side wall of the garage face brick to fit in with guidelines) then they will send it to the developer for approval.. hppefully it complys this time. |
