Ok here goes..... This is my floor plan.... it was originally a 4 bedroom house but as you can see bedroom 3 is enormous ... I took the wall of bedroom 4 out so now I have a very happy teenager ( they need their space).... it my forever home so Im not worried about resale value... although I have been told that 3 bedrooms are quite popular now if there is a study room/area which I have. Some other changes I made from the original plan are :
Added space to bedroom 2 also and increased the size of wardrobes in kids rooms and added mirrored sliding doors.
added door frames to my ensuite and wardrobe, the end of entry hall and a double door frame to the theatre room as none of those came with doors. I have already bought my doors to install myself after handover. I also have a front door to install myself after handover as the one I wanted at prestart was going to be an extra $630 but I got the exact same door at Masters for $277 ... so much cheaper than what the builders were going to charge me. ...
Essa stone bench top with waterfall edges were my biggest splurge but so worth it in the long run... Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Share

I walk around the streets every night after work with my dog and the progress around the place is unbelievable. There will be green lawns soon hopefully to settle the dust Arggggh the dust is driving me insane
