We very nearly bought a 5 acre block in dandalup springs, until we realized for our first home we would be wayyy in over our heads with all the expenses of setting the property up for my horses and building a house. We were going to live in a shed to begin with which seemed ok At the time but now I'm actually building a house I'm so glad it didn't eventuate! Look forward to following Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Dandalup Estate 23Sep 02, 2015 10:55 am I agree, so hard to choose the right builder, but you will find the right one for you I love that bed from Harvey Norman, one of my favourites. Looks like we have similar taste I think all of us are guilty of dreaming of new furniture!! Re: Dandalup Estate 24Sep 02, 2015 12:46 pm archetto Nice block! Jeeeez Louise deff would've been in over your head if you bought one of those horse blocks straight up. Wouldn't of taken long before it got to the 1 mill mark I rekn. Ours is a horse block, but with my two boys I think it will be one giant motoX track haha Re: Dandalup Estate 25Sep 02, 2015 12:48 pm jelbell55 I agree, so hard to choose the right builder, but you will find the right one for you I love that bed from Harvey Norman, one of my favourites. Looks like we have similar taste I think all of us are guilty of dreaming of new furniture!! It's even harder because there are sooooo many builders to choose from lol. Ahhhhhhh that bed, I will never want to get out. Re: Dandalup Estate 26Sep 02, 2015 2:54 pm We looked at the North Dandalup Estate (is that the one near the airstrip/kennels?) but the blocks required too much clearing for what we wanted. Haha I know when we worked it all out it was around $800K+ and that was doing it cheaply!! Cheaper to buy an established equestrian property closer to Perth! I look forward to seeing yours evolve! Nah it's right next to Dandalup Springs lol, it starts at hopelands road then goes back toward Dandalup Springs. Our block backs onto Lakes Road. There's nothing there at all yet, it's still someone's farm with cows everywhere hahaha. They are saying titles will be due in Feb but I can't see that happening. I can't wait until our build evolves too lol, but it's sooooooo far off Re: Dandalup Estate 28Sep 02, 2015 10:16 pm Oh cool that must of been advertised when we stopped looking haha will be following Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Dandalup Estate 29Sep 16, 2015 12:12 am So on the weekend we went out for a drive to where our block is, and there's.......wait for it.......a sign that says they are now selling blocks at this new estate. (Corner of hopelands and lakes road) WOW!! At this rate titles won't be out in Feb. Still nothing done out there, and still cows on where our block should be haha. On the plus side our house went on the market on Saturday, so hopefully it sells soon so we can start saving Re: Dandalup Estate 30Sep 27, 2015 11:26 pm House is sold.......wooooooooooo.......only on the market for 2 weeks. Time to save for our palace no mortgage for awhile yaaaaaaaaaaay......also approached *, looks like we will be building with them Re: Dandalup Estate 31Oct 12, 2015 11:36 am Wow congrats on selling your home so quickly... that is great news! Re: Dandalup Estate 34Oct 13, 2015 12:41 am Ourmansion I know I'm almost tempted to ask for some of the advertising money back, but I'm too chicken lol. |
