I still can not make up my mind for lights over kitchen benchtop. one minute I wanted down light and the next day I would be drooling over other's pendant lights. Yes, we all can't wait to see more photos. viewtopic.php?=31&t=81624 I was the same. Tho for me I have always wanted pendants but took time to choose the style. Re: First Home Build - Sekisui Sydney - Luzia 486Sep 20, 2016 5:29 pm EPaul888 You can request for samples of both the tiles and carpet you have chosen and you can either pick them up or get them posted. Thanks for the tip, might have to do that. Re: First Home Build - Sekisui Sydney - Luzia 487Sep 27, 2016 7:25 am House now all cleaned; windows, side paths, loo collected. Based on my list, the remaining works to do are: - Driveway - Vanity mirrors (can't see them from outside but shower screens are in so they must be there too) - Flyscreens - Upstairs carpet and timber flooring According to SS floorings will be done Wed / Thurs Driveway next week. Then PCI in two weeks!!! Re: First Home Build - Sekisui Sydney - Luzia 490Sep 28, 2016 12:25 pm Wow you are moving in soon. Can't wait to see more pics..... nearly there. Extremely very happy for you and your family. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81624 Re: First Home Build - Sekisui Sydney - Luzia 491Sep 28, 2016 12:34 pm Building a sekisui house in Holmesville NSW viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75060 Re: First Home Build - Sekisui Sydney - Luzia 492Sep 28, 2016 2:00 pm Thank you guys...all of us are so excited at the moment. Hubby passed by at the house and has somehow managed to take a (ONE only) photo. It seems all of frontage are now cleared of rubbish, bins collected and the make shift 'bin' has also now been taken down. Yay! Immediately or get everything sorted? Are they doing your driveway? Sounds like you will be ready to go at handover. Re: First Home Build - Sekisui Sydney - Luzia 495Oct 01, 2016 8:19 am yvonneh Looking so good! Lovely lights. You must be so excited. What are your plans for moving? Immediately or get everything sorted? Are they doing your driveway? Sounds like you will be ready to go at handover. Thanks yvonneh Driveway is by Sekisui. They have also allowed me to speak directly to the concreter for any additional works we like. We are looking at getting them the concreting on left side of house (outside laundry) and front yard footpath from entrance to porch. If they can do it without delaying PCI we will go ahead, otherwise we will ask them to come back after handover. Still waiting for quote. The plan is to allow two weeks after handover before we completely move. It will allow our own tilers to do the main floor max 4 days. Hubby also needs to seal the garage (same product you used). Shutters will also be installed and furnitures will be delivered within that two weeks, fingerscrossed. Hopefully two weeks is enough! HOWEVER, seing how lovely our house looks now, we might get too excited and move the same day we get the keys!!! Lol Re: First Home Build - Sekisui Sydney - Luzia 496Oct 11, 2016 8:15 am Just received a message from SS that PCI will have to be next Thursday instead of this coming one. Tbh its ok as strangely we feel we are not ready to move as well! Lol. Everything is now complete except for the driveway which will be poured tomorrow. However, I think it was the missing mirror splashback on the right hand side of the kitchen that has caused the delay. Based on our walkthrough last week, there's a big possibility that we can exchange keys same day as the PCI or few days after. House looks lovely! Re: First Home Build - Sekisui Sydney - Luzia 498Oct 11, 2016 9:46 am Look at that beautiful house, what sort of driveway are you having? So close now, would be great to get keys on the same day. sekisui build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75060&p=1573965#p1573965 Building a sekisui house in Holmesville NSW viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75060 Re: First Home Build - Sekisui Sydney - Luzia 499Oct 11, 2016 9:51 am Thanks mim! We are doing broom finished coloured concrete in gun metal colour. We have also asked the concreter to do the pathway from nature strip to porch so they will do it all at the same time. All prep are done and pouring will be tomorrow. Less thing to worry for us after handover.
