Are the changes they are making structural? Will you need to have your plans re approved? Hope the agreed items are to your liking and the new elevation drawings come back quickly. Re: Our Madison 39 by clarendon 22Aug 19, 2015 4:43 pm So I made the most of being back in the colour studio and took some photos this time. After our meeting today some outdoor colours may change slightly, but at the moment we have: Magnum roof tiles: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Monument window frames, gutters and fascia Moondust brick with off-white mortar Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Eclipse brick as feature brick on balcony (in bottom left corner of photo) again with off-white mortar. The front elevation got changed slightly due to constructability issues. Some make sense, some not so much and are going to be fixed up so it aligns like it did before. We had to put a bulkhead in a bedroom for an aircon duct so the window size reduced which I wasn't happy about. Now it looks like they might be able to get the duct in the same as the display so no bulkhead required. We also found out they hadn't done a gallery facade in brick in QLD before so they presented 3 options this morning on how the can waterproof the top of the balustrade - I'm just waiting for the costings on the options. Hopefully it doesn't delay us too much! Your a patient soul MinandB I would of been extremely cross. Glad you can keep your original window height and no bulk head, fingers crossed the costings are reasonable and you can move forward quickly. Re: Our Madison 39 by clarendon 25Aug 20, 2015 2:06 pm Looks like balcony issue is resolved. We will be tiling the top to make it look neater. Only the air-con issue to go. Hopefully the can finalise our consolidated plans this week - or I won't be so patient! Only a few clarifying questions. Still waiting on the consolidation of everything. Hopefully we can get to estimating Monday. I'm sure we were meant to be there over a week ago! I've been told that our file has gone to the estimations team for ordering so hopefully the file comes soon. To be honest I'm ready to drop the contract. Maybe a Facebook post will get things going - certainly can't trust our csc to do any more than half answer emails and give attitude when I call to clarify. It's a frustrating time for you MinandB, I felt that way when we saw the Clarendon sales rep, no straight answers and everything was open ended. We needed fixed prices and a quick turn around. I hope you get through the next stage quickly and your build is a happy and exciting experience for you. Re: Our Madison 39 by clarendon 31Aug 24, 2015 7:57 pm Thanks Tribe. It was a struggle to get there and I'm still not happy with the whole process but it's now done! Csc has also advised the following in terms of 'action' on our site: Site cut – booked for 3/9 Surveyor – booked for 7/9 Piering – booked for 8/9 Drainage – Booked for 10/9 Slab Preparation - Booked 11/9 Slab pour – 14/9 Here's hoping it all goes to plan!
