Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 28, 2015 6:15 pm Hi all, The land we purchased is currently in the process of being prepared. This involved a creek being turned into a road, with drainage, my lot is right next to this drain. The land is a mere 300sq... Any information would be of assistance. It will still cost a bit but less expensive than importing bulk land fill and the associated expensive foundations. Suspended floors become more affordable if the walls of the house are light weight, i.e. weatherboard or rendered blue board.
