We are 15m north of you and we started pretty much the same time as you. Our white set is nearly done and the render was done today..seems crazy as it was forecast to rain and so now we have grooves from the downpipes which they'll need to fix up. Hope you've made good progress too! Re: HGWA build Burns Beach- 8 months still no slab 382Aug 15, 2016 10:23 pm ZoePerth How's your build going Mon? Hope you've made good progress too! Hi Zoe We are going well. White set all done! Should have glass installed this week and hopefully lockup by end of the week! The house feels so big! We are starting to put deposits down on furniture and starting to buy stuff for Te house which is exciting! Do you think you will be in for xmas? We are really hoping so! Mon Re: HGWA build Burns Beach- 8 months still no slab 383Aug 15, 2016 10:47 pm Oh awesome! They've said we will have glass by end of august which feels like ages but I suppose it's not really. Funnily enough I'm looking at sofas online now lol. White set def makes it look less like a building site! Someone has cleaned and swept up all the floors too which helps lol. Aveling said at slab down they were aiming for late November and we have a date for flooring (we are doing them) for December. We have a friend who is a great painter who is doing the sealing and painting so he can slot in whenever. Really we need the front fenced off (about 8m worth) before we can get in due to our dogs. So yes hopefully before Christmas so I'm sure you will be too. Re: HGWA build Burns Beach- 8 months still no slab 384Aug 15, 2016 11:11 pm Looking great! It's starting to feel like a real home hey Re: HGWA build Burns Beach- 8 months still no slab 385Aug 21, 2016 12:02 pm We've reached lock up!!! So so so excited! But we've noticed a massive leak out the front from the roof onto our eaves which will need fixing- can't wait for cabinetry!!!! It's all looking fantastic!
