When they built they installed a underground electricity pit on the foot path in the boundary (our driveway side) of us and them. I am wondering whether we are able to share their electricity pit instead of of installing a new one? We are building in Mount Waverley. Thanks. We got one with our knock down re build and it had to go on the side where our neighbor is as we don't have a neighbor on the other side just parkland. It didn't cost us anything. The only thing may be if you want 3 phase power and it may only be set up for single phase. In Ringwood East - exact same scenario - they leveraged off the existing pit - didn't need to get a new one put in or pay any extra.
