We are idle at the moment, nearing our budget now and thinking I should've gone design plan instead of value then I wouldn't need to upgrade a thing lol so at the stage We've been seeing some nice Carlisle homes lately. Very Tempting indeed. Very Tempting indeed. There's so much to consider. We are just researching and hearing what others are doing. Still can't decide if I want to extend the island bench. It's really doing my head in haha I think if I don't do it I'll regret it and if I do I might not like it haha. All for the sake of 20 cm! Yes Carlisle houses are so nice, I think they definitely stand out from alot of the others. Our display is at timbertop in officer if you've been there. I just wish I could get some pricing out of them so I can work out our budget. I created a Carlisle homes facebook page if you wanted to have a look at what others were doing. We should start a Delaray one to suss out our neighbours haha nicnbam.blogspot.com Re: Deleray Clyde North Villawood 44Aug 17, 2015 11:11 am Lol I reckon bit quiet from our estate I'm seeing clydevale people now which is bummer. We haven't seen that display home yet, i was a huge fan of the Augusta home based in Somerville but the Sales C at keysborough was too busy at the time so we looked into Metricon but never know still early days. We love the room sizes all homes should be like that How do I sign up to Facebook blog? We should start a Delaray one to suss out our neighbours haha nicnbam.blogspot.com I hear you on the island though. We upgraded ours to 3300 in length and up to 1600 in width. Cost us 950 for that, dreading the Caesar stone variation costs though won't be pretty that's for sure. That's why sticking standard for that Re: Deleray Clyde North Villawood 46Aug 17, 2015 11:28 am But we have learnt a lot though on forum. I didn't know if were undecided on most things to just put provisional allowances into quote and it gives you a fair idea what your budget will be. Instead of doing our head in deciding what to get for house. So I put down things like: Tile allowance (whatever price budget) Driveway allowance Kitchen allowance Electrical allowance Doors/windows allowance Landscaping allowance Even added Fencing allowance lol Then come selection time you have a budget to work with. If I knew this beforehand would have been helpful but better late then never Re: Deleray Clyde North Villawood 47Aug 18, 2015 11:23 am What are you putting for your driveway allowance? We want to make ours wide so 2 cars can park side by side. This is the carlise facebook page, ive been able to get a good idea of things already. So exciting! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1116973 ... 9/?fref=ts I need to sit down and work out everything again, ive kind of blocked it from my brain the last few weeks. We might have a tender appointment in November and colour selection in October. I just want to know where we are at $ wise. Re: Deleray Clyde North Villawood 48Aug 18, 2015 12:04 pm That's good always good for time out from house stuff For our driveway we are moving house back a metre, lounge would have been too close to footpath, and we wanted to try to do the same thing with cars. When I looked at Delaray Estate covenants, it had a driveway width limitation, but if we keep in the width of our garages, I wouldn't think it would a problem Metricon only cover 35m2 so we have to pay the difference though Wow your colour selections are soon, glad your prepared. Re: Deleray Clyde North Villawood 49Aug 19, 2015 7:07 am Good point, will have to check the building guidelines. We have to pay for our driveway. Didn't think about location to the footpath. Will have to look. Our front room is our bedroom nicnbam.blogspot.com Re: Deleray Clyde North Villawood 50Aug 19, 2015 7:18 am Driveways mustn't be wider than 5 meters at the street boundary so pretty sure it can be as wide as you want on your property as long as it's not more than 5m where it meets the footpath nicnbam.blogspot.com Re: Deleray Clyde North Villawood 52Sep 21, 2015 7:01 pm Wow awesome I was hoping they'd have progress because stage 1 and 2 are all sold. Very exciting and thank you for sharing that info. We visit "the avenue estate" coz our SC is based there every weekend so we haven't gone beyond that. But now we will be someone finally bought property next to us and I see you have neighbours now. Happy now Re: Deleray Clyde North Villawood 53Sep 21, 2015 7:07 pm Yes we have one neighbours, not sure about the other side. I've not looked for a bit. So hope we don't have double storey on both sides haha Makes it a bit more exciting now nicnbam.blogspot.com Re: Deleray Clyde North Villawood 59Sep 24, 2015 2:34 pm It all looks like things are going to be on time. So far! Still a long way but looks promising! We are just out looking at tiles. Oh my god! How hard. No idea what colours to do in the bathroom. We still aren't any closer with our build. Went to the sales guy last week and changed a few things. Also got him to include the fixed price for 12 months for free instead of just 6 months. Saved us $3000!! nicnbam.blogspot.com Re: Deleray Clyde North Villawood 60Sep 24, 2015 4:28 pm M locked ours until end of March 2016, so we pay 1500 if it titles June so hoping it titles earlier That's awesome glad your making progress though, tiles I thought would be easy but found out no way. Have to do 2 Pwdr rooms, 2 WC, ensuite, laundry and bathroom. Had to upgrade heights before starting on tiles but decided we'll only focus more on bathroom and ensuite and might stay standard tiles for rest but upgrade only height to 1200mm.
