Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building a new house - where to start? 2Jul 14, 2015 12:51 pm Overall, I don't think it matters too much which part of the house you start with, as it ends up being iterative: you revisit your early decisions in the light of other details you work on later. I'd start with the things you really like, or want to include. For the exterior colours, you'd typically look at putting together a set of three: roof, main front wall, and feature. Then the rest of the colour details will tend to follow from these. With interior colours, I'd start with wall colour, working out if it would be warm/cool colours - beige/greige/grey/white etc. Then try to sort out floor-coverings before bathrooms and kitchens. Yes well there solution is to blame everyone else while I a 65yr old woman with major medical problems have to just continue to boil water and wash myself in a bucket… 2 16052 If you make sure all taps inside and out are turned off, what does the water meter show if you leave it for a while. 2 20290 13 6697 |
