Please excuse my revolting bedroom suite, it's on the upgrade list haha I love cushions too! And pillows! They make beds and sofas more inviting I think I have been playing around with cushion combinations... what do you think? Too much? The sofa comes with two little side cushions as well (same as photo) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Finished off the painting today and rewarded myself with a little succulent plant for the kitchen. Yeap I'm a bit of a cushion addict, I like the ones you have picked, my personal preference would be to pick different colours as a contrast as it enables you to add new colours into your room as you can repeat them from the cushion colours (if that makes sense) some apricot, pale lemon, pinks and mauves would all work with your sofa colour and match in nicely with the stunning canvass you posted earlier. Have you moved in yet? Re: First home - Adelaide 226Nov 05, 2015 10:38 pm LOVE that couch!!! I'm getting my new one from there. I love that they're made here in SA. I like the cushions and yes extra colour would look awesome. Re: First home - Adelaide 227Nov 08, 2015 12:45 am No not yet. It's been hard to find time in between work The landscaping and concrete for the driveway and paths will all be completed next week so will start looking to move in then! Still waiting to find out when my couch arrives.. Hoping I love the colour when I see it lol minor panic attack Re: First home - Adelaide 230Nov 29, 2015 9:59 pm WOW!!!! FABULOUSSSSS it looks great! So is it mint or turquoise? You did great choosing your cushions. I missed your post with the turf. How does it look laid? Re: First home - Adelaide 232Nov 30, 2015 4:23 pm Yep looking amazing, good cushion choices, I love the lightness. Re: First home - Adelaide 234Dec 08, 2015 9:07 pm Question - I've noticed a slight flicker in some of my lights (hallway, ensuite and main bedroom so far). It's one of those things where if you blink you miss it but it definitely keeps recurring. Is this something I should get the builder to have a look at as part of the maintenance period? I'm not sure if this is to do with their initial work or because I've had people in the roof since moving in to install ducted air conditioning, etc. Would really appreciate your advice! Re: First home - Adelaide 235Dec 08, 2015 9:14 pm Are they LED bulbs? They can flicker. If LEDs try a CFL or incandescent bulb and see. But definitely put it on the list. Re: First home - Adelaide 236Dec 08, 2015 9:18 pm I've only changed one bulb so far.. The rest are what the builder supplied. Do you suggest I change them all over first and see? Sometimes the flicker increases the brightness of the light (if that makes sense!) Re: First home - Adelaide 237Dec 08, 2015 9:25 pm Yeah I would just take out some that aren't flickering and swap them over. It could just be the crappy incandescent bulbs. If they still flicker definitely put it on the list. Re: First home - Adelaide 239Dec 10, 2015 3:01 am How do I know if I should contact the builder or the power company about the lights? One light I turned on tonight, came on extremely bright and them eventually dimmed to the normal brightness. The lights are still flickering at night (didn't notice in day time when I tested). I ha e a street light in front of my house and I've noticed the same thing happening to this light (goes brighter, dims to normal brightness and flickers). Possibly something to do with the power connection? Re: First home - Adelaide 240Dec 10, 2015 7:52 pm Did you get sorted? I would have rung builder first and explained what was happening then SA power networks. So it looks like we finally have some movement on site!
