It's all coming together so nicely ![]() Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - we have the keys 582Sep 08, 2016 11:47 am Lots happening at yours! Your flooring is beautiful ![]() Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - we have the keys 583Sep 09, 2016 12:00 am I started getting quotes for decking at our front door today, OMG who wants my other kidney? For about 12sqm our first couple of quotes came back at 2500 and 2900 plus GST! Is that their way of saying too hard basket job? One company can do a DIY kit for 2100 plus GST. Waiting on a quote from a local handyman. We're strongly considering tackling DIY, we also want to do a 4mx7m deck out the back, and 3 decked seats; so it might time to invest in a saw and start watching youtube tutorials! Especially the Wifey's Boudoir. Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - we have the keys 585Sep 09, 2016 12:27 am I know its crazy. I had a look at bunnings and their ego decking actually looks real easy to lay and no oiling or other care once laid. We have about 9m2 and i costed about $1000 all up Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - we have the keys 586Sep 09, 2016 1:47 am We were going to do decking as well but the prices were crazy! Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - we have the keys 587Sep 10, 2016 12:25 am Friends of our have just layed the Eco decking themselves and it looks great. After maintaining the front and back decking at our current house for the past 8 years we are certainly keen to go for a more low maintenance option with our build, especially with that price tag ! Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - we have the keys 591Sep 11, 2016 12:04 am Haha Sally, not even drinking! I think there might be 2 stubbies of Corona and half a bottle of flat champagne in the fridge of I get desperate! Now filling up the hand soap and about to give the bathrooms a clean. So much dust everywhere! Unpacking all the lovely new stuff ![]() ![]() Follow our HGWA build in Baldivis @ viewtopic.php?t=83352&f=31&p=1604334#p1604334 So much of our stuff has been packed in boxes since we sold our last house last May! It's going to be like Christmas finding things again ![]() Mr W2T has been going great guns moving things this weekend - so glad for our big triple garage, we've been stacking things up in there. The plan is to move as much as we can by doing a trip every evening so by Saturday all we've really got to move is the beds and the big stuff like the dining table. Thank goodness we have a big cage trailer to do it in. I've got two plastic crates that I'm using to move small awkward things in, mostly kitchen stuff like mixing bowls, small appliances and food. Never realised quite how many plastic containers I owned until I started washing them out and moving them ![]() ![]() In other news, Mr W2T installed our in garage washing line yesterday. This is my wet weather line so I can still get essentials dried in case of bad weather (we don't have a dryer and I'd rather try and avoid needing one) but it's going to be the only one we have for a while. I'm glad I've booked all of November off to paint our new home, move, then paint the old place. We have packed some stuff, but I think it wouldn't take that long to pack up all our crap. We are going to hire a truck, and borrow the in-laws trailer. The trailer will be used for rubbish, as we can do a spring clean/chuck out as we move. Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - we have the keys 596Sep 12, 2016 11:18 am Definitely a good opportunity to have a clean out! I've put a few things on buy sell pages to get rid of - made $120 yesterday ![]() ![]() Our Custom Dale Alcock build in the Village at Wellard https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78620 Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - we have the keys 597Sep 12, 2016 11:21 am I think FB and gumtree are the new garage sales. Wifey has been getting rid of some of my Lego stash (sob), but it's all for a better cause. Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - we have the keys 598Sep 12, 2016 11:32 am What a good idea with the washing line in the garage! I have a dryer, mainly use it for towels and the dog blankets! Gets rid of the dog hair so well haha! And then all winter I have racks of clothes in my house! I might get the hubby to put on in the garage for next winter though. I had planned to cull before we moved but I procrastinated too much! We moved everything into the garage and once flooring is done I will slowly spring clean when moving everything in ![]() Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - we have the keys 599Sep 12, 2016 11:35 am In the chaos of the weekend, I forgot to update about my shopping on Friday night. I love Friday night shopping in the CBD - everything costs $5! That's for you Spuddles, and if Mr W2T reads this ![]() ![]() Ok a few multiples of $5 but West Elm were having 20% off if you spent 100 $5 so I bought our headboard I've been eyeing up forever (used in the block last week by the way, what good taste they have!) I'm leaving the decorating to the Wifey, as I know it should like half decent, and more importantly, I won't get into trouble. Thank you, not for everyone I guess, but I love it too....happy with the outcome. 41 4848 I'll keep an eye out with interest for hopefully other H1 members who also build with Tullipan.
