OUR LAND HAS TITLED!! We had delay after delay, but PEET have been promising October titles for the last few months - they came to the party with the title being issued Friday afternoon - the last business day of October Now it's full steam ahead, our contracts with the bank have been signed and returned, we just need to sign the actual mortgage document now, and the transfer of land. Settlement is scheduled for 20th November Our Custom Dale Alcock build in the Village at Wellard https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78620 Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - Land Title Issue 55Nov 02, 2015 12:23 pm Congratulations!! Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - Land Title Issue 56Nov 02, 2015 12:49 pm Congratulations! We waited a year for titles too, so I know how good it feels when they finally come through! Now for the slab to go down Blog: https://houseamour.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/houseamour/ Our build thread with Ben Trager Homes: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77796 Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - Land Title Issue 57Nov 04, 2015 3:38 pm Congratulations, that is fantastic news!! Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - Land Title Issue 58Dec 05, 2015 12:42 am Congratulations! bet you can't wait for things to get moving now Re: Custom Dale Alcock in Wellard Village - Land Title Issue 60Dec 05, 2015 10:42 pm So things aren't moving along as fast as we would like unfortunately, I'm going to be emailing our liaison on Monday. We settled exactly 21 days after titles on November 20th, and were hoping to have a slab by Christmas. One of the reasons we chose Dales was that they promised to get us to site ASAP after our titles were issued. In October while we were still waiting for them, our CL said 6 weeks from titles issued; giving them time to get a surveyor and engineer to site, 2 weeks for shire approval prep (including getting reports) and 3 weeks for shire approval. It's been 5 weeks and they haven't finished preparing the shire approval yet. Based on the above, I imagine our application is going to be with the shire over the Christmas shutdown, I don't think we will be getting a slab until February! We're a bit disillusioned, we weren't meant to be getting started a year ago. When we got our second big delay to October, we were hoping that we might be at site in November, now the goalpost is even further away.
