How are you going with the home selecting process? Have you changed your mind or still sticking with the Bel-Air?
I remember seeing that house displayed at the Lydnhurst area, and i thought it was a beautiful house. Mum however didnt like it much as she thought it was quite strange to have the living room smack bang in the middle. She's just very old fashion.
Had a good read of your blog, feels like i know you now. You havent updated it for a while, i like your style of writing. Hope to read more of your experience.
Good luck
Hi Wonderland!
A very timely post! Just yesterday, we ruled out the last possible house change. We are now going with the Latitude 36 which is almost the same as the Bel-Air. I just have to be strong and not look at any more houses, even though I truly enjoy it.
I had a mental health day yesterday, so my partner and I headed up to Lyndhurst to look at the c@rl1sle display. I just LOVE the way they decorate their display homes, they really look top notch. I was getting significant evil eye from my other half, though, as my mind was still open to using them as a builder. Lucky for me, I don't love the floorplans and can easily take the decoration ideas and put them in our Latitude!
I can definitely understand the point about the living room in the middle of the house. What we do love about the house is the sense of space it gives. It sounds like such a small thing, but the fact that you can see through to the back of the house as soon as you open the front door really appeals to us. So lovely and open.
Thanks for the comments on my blog! I actually have about 5 posts ready to put up there, I just need to finish them off!
Need another mental health day!
