I spent 11k and got basswood shutters for all the beds and the entry niche. Mostly single rollers everywhere else and four motors and two remotes. I urge you to consider quoting with elite blinds and shutters. Save the 10k for a new couch and a couple of rugs If your keen drop me a pm if you need detailed pricing. Will definitely check them out. Window coverings is doing my head in a bit at the moment - perhaps I should move in first before deciding on what to get! I originally had my heart on getting the dark walnut shutters like in the display but so many people have warned me about them fading rapidly in the summer sun that I'm not a bit apprehensive. I certainly don't want to have to fork out a couple grand every couple of years to have them re-stained! I'll be happy if you end up getting what you want in his business. Got it - many thanks! What did they set you back and were did you purchase them from? Do they need to be cemented in or are the heavy enough to support themselves. Do they need to be cemented in or are the heavy enough to support themselves. They’re factory seconds and cost us around 3k if i remember it correctly. They are quite heavy and require a steady foundation past a certain height. Ours is about a meter smidge over and we had concrete poured to form the base. Still needing silicone between brick and track to seal the inside from creepy crawlies. They look awesome Abe! Re: Balmoral 34 MKI Majestic Facade (Syd) - Handover 16.11.1 777Mar 13, 2018 7:05 pm They look fantastic. I am thinking about doing that at our place. If you don’t mind my asking who did you get them through? I assume they are motorised. Would you recommend and roughly what did it set you back? Re: Balmoral 34 MKI Majestic Facade (Syd) - Handover 16.11.1 778Mar 16, 2018 10:47 am Looks great, I've asked the wife to get some quotes too. Which company did you use? are you happy with them? If you don’t mind my asking who did you get them through? I assume they are motorised. Would you recommend and roughly what did it set you back? Got them from Australian Outdoor Living. I didnt get any other quote as it is a specialized product suitable for Australian outdoors. I’m sure i’m gonna get cheaper ones but will not get 10yr warranty for the product (tracks, mechanical parts and screens) and it also fits my budget plan of 0% on 3yrs installment. The motorised component is german made and I didnt opt for it as the quote easily doubled. I couldnt justify the cost for the size, frequency of use and convenience of operation of the 2 outdoor blinds. These beauties set me back 6k but all worth it me being able to open my corner stacker doors fully without letting in mozzies and other creepy crawlies, whilst giving my home a very good air circulation day long. Also, my Alfresco has been as clean as i can leave it without tending to it too much. No more dead leaves from the backyard being pushed in by the wind and the fly screens are relatively free from insects and bugs hanging around. Dear Members I have to decide the Facade column size. My custom builder standard is 350mm with rendering, but i asked for 470mm plus stone or tiles and yet to get… 0 7818 traditional gable roof facade - Have you did the dark and light gray color combination in facade with gray stone in facade… 0 4480 Looking to tile the facade pillars rather than rendering. Builder is quoting 2500$ laying cost for upto 10msq. The 2 pillars come to be 16msq. So laying costs are 5000$… 0 7938 |
