Please refer to the photo. http://i1259.photobucket.com/albums/ii548/Liem_Nguyen/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG-20150925-WA0000-1.jpg 1. The top photo is the balcony which comes standard with the isla facade (should be 3 panels instead of 2 as displayed in EP). I kind of like this style due to the stainless steel (SS) buttons attached to the glass and I kind of like the painted aluminium frames (frames stands out as a feature of the balcony) 2. Photo on bottom is the upgraded balcony and glass. Obviously this one has less frames Q is which looks better in yr opinion? Or do they both look great with their own appeal? Thanks Orpheus Building the Metricon Glendale 38|Sydney Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 330Sep 30, 2015 8:44 pm I like the look of the second one Metricon Glendale 38 - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75696&p=1298363#p1298363 Selections: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75696&start=60 Tiles - p25 Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 332Oct 01, 2015 6:51 am I like the first one Build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78449 Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 333Oct 01, 2015 7:11 am In my view it depends if you are going with a brown/cream facade I think the second one is better as they are no greys or stainless steel tones to pick off. For you facade with the dark metal is bricks and grey accents I like the 1st one viewtopic.php?t=78985 Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 334Oct 01, 2015 7:16 am Thanks everyone for your inputs! We prob cant afford to upgrade to the second one anyways but are happy with the first one. Both look good! BTW I found a display home with the balcony we are getting and it looks great! http://i1259.photobucket.com/albums/ii548/Liem_Nguyen/Mobile%20Uploads/Merricks37Isla-869-1.jpg Orpheus Building the Metricon Glendale 38|Sydney Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 336Oct 01, 2015 9:45 am Orpheus Building the Metricon Glendale 38|Sydney Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 337Oct 01, 2015 2:30 pm Build thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78995 Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 338Oct 01, 2015 11:56 pm Hi All, with the electrical appointment, can we install any lights or fittings which is not displayed in Studio M? Would the electrical consultant refuse it or are they flexible? And does the item have to be in Beacon Lighting's product range? Orpheus Building the Metricon Glendale 38|Sydney Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 339Oct 02, 2015 12:40 am If you want to install any light or fittings not in display in studio m then you can just ask for a provision to be put in like a light batten or junction box for outdoor lights. They have a very limited range available and very pricey aswell. Build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78449 Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 340Oct 02, 2015 6:45 am Orpheus, We did not get any lighting/fans from studio m only batten light points. Other than things like exhaust fan for wet areas without windows (that M have to install for you as part of building code) you can just ask them to wire everything else without getting the fitting from them. I think one down light from studio M was like $125 when we did our selections . You can get light point for $15 or $20 and then get the light and install it yourself post handover (probably will cost you $50-$60 all up). Our consultant almost encouraged us to do this. If you want to get pendants make sure you add a timber noggin to the light point so that it can bare the weight. viewtopic.php?t=78985 Hi, First of all, thank you to this community for sharing your thoughts and opinions.
