I walked past the house of a local bespoke builder here in Strathfield the other day. The ute with builder logo decal in the driveway. Inside the garage was a Bentley and a Ferrari. I'm sure the bosses of the big project builders like M all go on round-the-world holidays each year with the "variation fee" revenues. Frustrating but there's not much you can do I guess. Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 245Sep 10, 2015 12:14 pm With the garage extension I had to remove mine as there is a cap on how much can be excluded from your FSR. We hit the 50% mark required by DA so no extension. The garage is generous enough but extra storage is always good. Push for it and see. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78995 Build thread - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78995 Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 246Sep 10, 2015 12:15 pm NRyde Glendale37+ With the garage extension I had to remove mine as there is a cap on how much can be excluded from your FSR. Orpheus Building the Metricon Glendale 38|Sydney Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 253Sep 10, 2015 8:17 pm We have the same size garage now as the glendale and we can manage to fit an SUV and a small car Build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78449 Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 254Sep 10, 2015 8:46 pm How big is the Glendale garage? Ours is 5750mm x 5760mm I would have preferred something slightly bigger but with the sewer line running across the boundary some of the changes we did to the standard layout meant we could not make it any bigger. We planning to install a access point to the ceiling cavity sometime in the very distant future! viewtopic.php?t=78985 Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 255Sep 10, 2015 8:52 pm Its 5670mmx 6240mm. I wish we could make our garage bigger too Build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78449 Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 256Sep 10, 2015 8:56 pm yiieeks ours is small in comparison! The size I quoted is the internal garage size not external (add another 400mm to the measurement to get external). Oh well some people live in the world live in houses smaller than that! Another first world problem we need to live with ️ viewtopic.php?t=78985 Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 258Sep 10, 2015 9:16 pm Franky40 yiieeks ours is small in comparison! Just want to check we don't need to upgrade it to tiled shower bases. Thanks!
