Can't believe it Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 4670Mar 22, 2017 1:16 pm Hi All, PCI was good but there were still lots outstanding items and defects: 1. Main concern is a cracked floor tile directly under the balustrade in the balcony. To replace the tile will involved major rework.... 2. Soft close hinges and runners not installed 3. Alarm pad not working due to cabling issues 4. Paint rework and touch ups not completed. Painters were working during our PCI 5. Large windows with flyscreens have a thick centre metal rod so the flyscreen frame doesn't sag or bow. Why can't they design a stronger frame to support the flyscreen? 6. Downpipes not painted all the way around and apparently this is M standard? I need to check the display homes again. Our SM said he will try to get painters do it properly (not holding my breath) 7. Lots of electrical works (light fittings, GPOs, faulty lights 8. Pergola works incomplete 9. Data/comms cables not labelled (WTH) 10. Site needs a major clean Only good news is out SM will see if the painters can change our rendered pillar to surfmist.... Here's hoping all these can be rectified in a couple of weeks for handover plsssssssss . Don't have any more pictures so will have to wait under handover now..... @Orph Build thread: viewtopic.php?t=78328 Home Furniture: viewtopic.php?t=80551 Technology Hub: viewtopic.php?t=83663 Landscape Design: viewtopic.php?t=80645 Orpheus Building the Metricon Glendale 38|Sydney Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 4671Mar 22, 2017 1:22 pm Orpheus Hi All, PCI was good but there were still lots outstanding items and defects: 1. B R O N T E. 43 http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=79581 Thanks JM, The flyscreens for the stacker doors have a horizontal bar which I'm ok with as its a safety issue to prevent ppl from walking into the flyscreen. But there is no need for the bar in the flyscreens for the windows. I will upload some photos of the flyscreens soon. @Orph Build thread: viewtopic.php?t=78328 Home Furniture: viewtopic.php?t=80551 Technology Hub: viewtopic.php?t=83663 Landscape Design: viewtopic.php?t=80645 Orpheus Building the Metricon Glendale 38|Sydney Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 4677Mar 22, 2017 5:25 pm Photos of flyscreens. There might be a bar on the sliding door for laundry, not sure. We don't have them on stacker door. Thanks Kylz. Must be difference in window companies. I'm gonna tell our SM to detach the middle bar off, otherwise I'm not gonna fit them and get a refund. Looks so stupid. Yeah the light switch (one above is for outdoor heaters) was done during installation as an extra so we only gotten the standard switch.
