Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 02, 2015 10:49 am Hi, We are building our very first home with CH and we've chosen Claremont 35 for its wonderful feeling of space and light across two floors. If you are building the same house or a similar design, please share your experiences. Thank you By the way, our colour selection is scheduled next month. Can't believe July is already fully booked. But it's a good sign though, a lot of people are choosing carlisle as their builder Re: Building Claremont 35, CH 2Jul 03, 2015 8:39 pm Hi there. We are also building the Claremont 35 with Carlisle homes. Our temp fencing goes up next Thursday so we are excited again. We are building in Officer VIC, there was a 9 month delay on our land titling...basically the developers weren't upfront with anyone in the estate about when we would title. We were supposed to start in October 2014! Anyway...thats behind us and we are about to start construction so getting excited again now. We loved the Claremont, perfect size for us (2 adults, 2 small kids) and you are correct, the light in this design is fantastic. We are going pretty modern in terms of exterior colours, graphite bricks, dune upstairs render, black windows. We chose the Somerset Facade, what did you go for? ll be sure to post some pics for you, once it takes shape. Cheers, Alan Re: Building Claremont 35, CH 3Jul 14, 2015 8:09 pm Hi Alan, Glad to know that finally after several months of delay, you're already on site! I can feel the excitement! We are a family of 3 and I don't find Claremont 35 as that big, it's a pretty decent size for a double storey house. Not that small and not that big either. So pretty in between. We chose the Jamison facade. Interior will be modern with a touch of grey and white I'll be waiting for your pics! Hopefully, we can site start on nov or dec. Fingers crossed! Re: Building Claremont 35, CH 6Jan 12, 2016 3:01 pm Hi guys Looks nice. Have few questions to ask. I'm trying to get a quotation for this. Claremont 35. Did anyone thought of adding a window to butlers Pantry and also to the kitchen instead of the splashback? What are the upgrades most of you pick? Sorry money related questions Re: Building Claremont 35, CH 7Feb 09, 2016 8:47 am Hi Guys, We are building Claremont 35 as well. Our tender appointment is this Thursday (11 Feb 2016) with expected site start May 2016. @Carlisle Claremont, how did you go with your hand over on 28th Jan ? Any nasty surprises ? @clueless2009, We were quoted $750 for adding a window to the kitchen instead of splash back.
