DIY or not? 4Jul 02, 2015 10:21 am I did a 2 pack epoxy coat on my garage floor. Bought the Dymark product from the 'big green shed' for $175 and it will do a normal 2 car garage, and it comes with vinyl flecks to help hide stuff. I would strongly recommend you have at least 2 people on rollers to spread it around as I ended up without an even coating across the floor, where it was a full coat in parts, and thin coat in others. I did mine by myself, so I alone had to cut in the edges and do all the rolling myself. Owner Building at Jimboomba Woods in Logan City Qld. A person cutting in on the edge and a person on a roller following that cut in person around the edge with roller and then when cut in person is finished cutting in, he gets on a second roller to get it coated? Two person job then? Any other tips? Re: Sealing Garage Floor ? It's suggested that you have at least two people to do the cutting and the rolling, I'd suggest two to do the rolling, with both grabbing the brush to do the edging... they say to do both the cutting and rolling at the same time, so that you don't have a dry join between the two. DIY or not? 11Jul 02, 2015 5:19 pm We used the two pack from bunnings recently in our rental and it looks fantastic! We are definitely doing it in the new build garage. Easy too. our only tip would be to not go too heavy with the cutting in brush around the edge. Re: Sealing Garage Floor ? DIY or not? 12Jul 02, 2015 9:18 pm Althom Why not just put down garage floor tiles? Done once and if you do have a spill of paint etc just change the tile affected. Sealing/painting just means ongoing maintenance. Yes!
