Also added a power point we forgot during the build The inside of the wall, I'll be rendering in a grey colour, and building some stainless shelving and a bench for entertaining We now have 5 spare bricks from the build, as the wall took all that we had, plus a few from the blonde renovating up the street! Can I ask which energy company you are with? Missed this one, sorry.... We're getting that with AGL, on a plan called Solar Savers Even this last quarter, which has been really bad for solar generation, we got a $250 feed in credit Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Re: Building Bayside : Our Glendale 45 611Aug 10, 2020 9:49 am Drew01 Renman Looks like you have been very busy Drew. We have noticed our top shelf sagging under the weight of mixers etc. Andrew wants to put in some extra bracing. Now that I see your post, I might hurry him up! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Building Bayside : Our Glendale 45 616Oct 24, 2020 10:49 pm I have plenty of those braces in white!! Ours is all 16mm Laminex chip, nothing's ever going to sag now! To fix yours, take everything off, and put a 20mm thick bracing piece of MDF running the full length of the shelf, and roughly 40mm deep, with screws every 150mm, and it'll never sag again. Paint it before you put it in, and use small blobs of Sikaflex or silicon as a supplement to the screws That being said, we had more weight on the top of ours than it looks like you do, and it hadn't moved. I reckon we had over 200 Fowler's Vacola bottles, the bread machine, etc up there and it was still straight Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Re: Building Bayside : Our Glendale 45 617May 23, 2021 4:21 pm Nearly finished our gas fire and new living room cabinetry installation...
