Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Is there such a job description who looks over contracts 4Jul 01, 2015 9:23 pm klubear they could charge me for anything and I think they know that (see other thread about charging $760 to not stain doors) What thread is that? would be interesting to read. aloenyx I'm planning to get Building-Experts company to do a contract review with me I did this and to be honest i wasn't impressed. The review went over a few things but unfortunately due to me not getting any report from the read over for me it was not helpful. I do remember one stand out thing was "concrete pour" for EG, in my contract my builder estimated how much concrete they would use, if they need more they "could" of invoice me, they didn't. just one of the items that came up, i think from memory there were maybe around 3-6 items on the list which i didn't get. So i got someone else to my lock up inspection and was very happy, just my experience i guess. Glennc74 I would suggest looking into getting a lawyer who specialises in building contracts I think this is a good idea..... Thank you. Do I use timber floorboards for stairs or do people use timber treads? Or is both the same? 6 7290 2 822 MBA and HIA both have sub contract agreements, check them out 2 7315 |
