We're planning to YouTube and lay turf ourselves too! Looks like a big job though Re: KDR with Rawson Homes - The Edge 39 - HANDOVER 26/9/16 543Oct 29, 2016 9:47 pm I like the sound of that Steve. Did you have to move any clay based soil and if so, how did it cope? Also did you arrange your own transport for the kanga or was a trailer included in the 260? Thanks Re: KDR with Rawson Homes - The Edge 39 - HANDOVER 26/9/16 544Oct 30, 2016 6:41 pm Wow! Good on you! Do you mind if I ask what the soil set you back? Ours was lovely and then it's like as soon as the builder came onsite we are now surrounded by clay and rock! C U S T O M. C O R A L. Thanks Last weekend my brother picked up the 1.5t excavator that did most of the hard clay work. I borrowed his truck to pickup the kanga this weekend. I was just a bit worried about my pretend tow bar on the skoda Octavia wagon. The trailer was included and very easy to unload and load up again. MrsJM Wow! Good on you! The 6 m3 premuim garden mix was $430 with delivery. The 12t turf underlay was $570 (which is 20% off with free delivery). Both loads were from turtle nursery and landscape supplies. Highly rate them. If you get the bulk order 12m3 or 12t, it's 20% off and free delivery.. Delivery down south might be expensive in small orders. That shouldn't be there right? That is the sewer riser that appeared after the plumbing rough in about 4 months ago. The plumbers returned to reroute the sewer and stormwater to hug the building foundation rather than cutting straight through the middle of the yard. When they redid the sewer the riser was added. I'll be lowering it as well as the storm water trench riser. The breather/vent is another one I'll be making a tad shorter. Now that you say it, I should have done it before now.... ;( Re: KDR with Rawson Homes - The Edge 39 - HANDOVER 26/9/16 560Nov 03, 2016 8:21 pm That should be at the boundary where your sewer connect to the mains, vent pipe should be right next to it. Maybe paint it red with white spots and put a garden gnome beside it so it looks inconspicuous! Hi, I am looking into doing a KDR in Melbourne and am contemplating using Kialla Homes. I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 13444 Just started the Build process for Chifley 42 with Rawson homes, will keep you all posted with the Build progress. 0 2452 |
