Hope you have had a great start to the year ? The trades have been back at work and working hard by the looks of it! We have cabinetry that looks finished (we cant get in to check thoroughly), and im so relieved with our choices. It looks beautiful! Tiling has started in the bathrooms and should be done by next week. Not much left to do as we are taking care of flooring/painting/window coverings and most electrical work ? Im starting to get more nervous as the thought of trying to organise all of that/get our current house ready to be rented out/pack and clean with my partner away and with two small kids in tow is getting closer! Ahhhhhhhh.? Also im starting to think more about landscaping and need help! Lol. I have found a gorgeous frangipani that i want to use in the front yard. And i know i want to make a big rendered letterbox. I just dont know if i should incorporate the plant in a planter with the letterbox or have it seperate closer to the middle of the yard? The rest of the yard will be grass. Any ideas? Pleasssseee help! Lol Re: Dales in Dawesville 65Jan 13, 2016 1:32 pm For the size of the frangipani, I'd have it in the middle, as it's only going to get bigger. And it'll make a nice focal point. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80963&start=10#p1475600 Re: Dales in Dawesville 66Jan 14, 2016 8:44 am Great point spuddles. I think that is the logical place, i didnt even consider future growth lol. Re: Dales in Dawesville 67Jan 15, 2016 12:10 am yes - definitely the middle - frangipani trees get huge! Lovely frangipani tree- it will be a beautiful feature! Re: Dales in Dawesville 78Feb 14, 2016 11:14 am Thanks Jelbell. Not sure as yet, we are keen to get a PCI date as my partner would like to be there with me (he works away) but its like pulling teeth lol. At what point did you get a date? Re: Dales in Dawesville 79Feb 14, 2016 11:24 am Yesterday we went to the house and shower screens, pavers and the bifold window had been delivered so im guessing they are on the agenda for next week ? We also ran into the elecrician who was there to complete the electrical fit out but couldnt as the ceiling painting had not being done.He actually had to take down what he had done. ? Re: Dales in Dawesville 80Feb 14, 2016 8:15 pm Sounds like you should get a date soon, we didn't get a date until everything was finished. Fingers crossed you hear something over the next week or so! |
