Atleast she informs us what is going on. for beanchtop she has provided an ETA as this friday. so i am hoping to get it fixed by tuesday next week. Not much left now. I see they have already completed the outside garden and drive way. keeping fingers crossed. Re: Building with Hudson Homes 164Mar 17, 2016 9:17 am jhiace We got back the credit for the oyster and bunker lights, pleasantly surprised by the amount of the credit! Also had our all weather access rocks delivered on site yesterday and as long as the rain has been ok the last couple of days our block will be cut today or tomorrow. thats great I am happy for you. keep fingers crossed. and everything will be fine. Re: Building with Hudson Homes 165Mar 17, 2016 9:20 am jhiace Thats excellent AM! I can't wait til we can say the same thing! Who are your site supervisors? Jessica told me just now, our site supervisor is Mark. Hudson homes is getting another lady on board to help out with customer queries. This will help both Sandra and Jessica to off load their. in a way its good our customers as well. They can handle customer queries more efficiently. I am sooooooooo Happpppppppppppppy this means i will be in my own home by early April.. i am super excited Re: Building with Hudson Homes 167Mar 17, 2016 1:30 pm YAY congratulations! So happy for you! It is weird how they go from a bit clumsy to right on the ball and things just get done! I hope the new staffer does assist the others in the office. Sandra has been on the ball today with things for me.. Here's hoping it remains! Look forward to pics of your home! Re: Building with Hudson Homes 174Apr 01, 2016 6:16 am Lexi, where is yours up to? Our block has been cut for two weeks and still NOTHING has been done, been asking Sandra EVERYDAY because she never answers what the hell is going on! The Hudson next to my friends new house was behind us, now they have the form work ready for the slab pour! GRRRR Getting frustrated real quick! Re: Building with Hudson Homes 175Apr 02, 2016 11:27 pm Hi guys, So sorry I fell so far behind for some reason I stopped getting email notifications for posts on the thread so I hadn't been checking much to catch up on lol. I'm so stoked for you am4400 that you have benches and it's all moving ahead so much for you now that so exciting can't wait too see pictures! So excited for you to move in When/how did you get to meet the site supervisor jhiace? We have been told we don't get to contact them until frame stage so we haven't touched base with them as yet. Your block looks amazing such a stunning location pity about the retaing walls though we might need one in our backyard too and I'm terrified of the bill hoping we can DIY one with my dad's help lol. Hoping we have enough money for landscaping driveway ect. I'm so sorry jhiace have you got piering and drainage yet or any mor information? I found when I kept asking Sandra for information as we were upset at being given the wrong dates/misinformation and hubby spoke to the customer service team manager I forget his title/name but he was very nice and cleared a lot up for us basically they only tell us what they hear from the builders and they get updated only on a weekly basis as too what's happening or scheduled for when and they don't have a tonne of control as tradies might be sick be running overtime on another job or just not show up if they get other work so things change all the time. We were really upset too as told several different things and it didn't happen have now been told we will get updates on progress from Sandra every two weeks which can be a long wait but it means the information is more accurate and that she knows more. We had a very accurate update just before Easter and should get another one in two weeks time now we know how it works this system seems to be working much better for us as it reduces misinformation and gives Sandra more time to know accurately what's happening or might be happening. I will post some photos up for you if I can figure out how too lol on Monday night. Also we chose the same tiles as you I think the matt grey ones with the set that matches in the bathrooms and a fragmented bluestone feature strip between vanities and mirrors. Re: Building with Hudson Homes 176Apr 04, 2016 8:28 am Lexi, We met him by chance just driving up our street, he is building some other ones in the same street so we saw him there and stopped and introduced ourselves, He was good to chat to and very upfront which i like. Still nothing done, after speaking with Sandra last week in emails and asking her in every email what was going on and getting no reply i phoned her on Friday and she let me know that because we made so many changes (and we did) they are doing the final once over of our file before it is released to the supervisor for construction, we have been getting a fair few credit variations rolling in for things we were charged for but no longer need. So i am happy with that but i wish this was communicated to us before. They expect to release the file mid week this week so we might see something end of the week if not next week should be busy. Tiles sound very nice!!! We have a stone hexagon tile going in the shower recesses.. cost us nearly $400 just for that in each shower!!! But hopefully will be nice. Re: Building with Hudson Homes 177Apr 04, 2016 8:36 am AM4400 Hi Everyone, Any one building their home in The Cedars Estate in Wadalba? (Near Johns Rd) Seems like we have a few estates in wadalba we are building in wadalba in the eagles nest estate but not with Hudson homes Re: Building with Hudson Homes 178Apr 06, 2016 9:41 pm Hi Jhiace , Aww okay fair enough then I need to check the paperwork but I think we should get to look over the site and meet him soon hopefully we have been checking it at every stage from outside the fence and getting photos lol but would be great to get in there and have a proper look and say hello when we can. Hopefully the variations and paperwork is all sorted for you now? I know it can be so upsetting going around in circles it happened to us too the main thing was being misinformed of dates and not knowing when/whats happening. Do you know if the site supervisor will be able give us a timeline or rough schedule of when things might be happening? We want to try and give our lovely neighbours a heads up of when site work might be happening if we can. So lucky/happy to have really friendly people on both sides! Aww thanks did you go the matching grey combo tiles in your bathrooms or something different? oo the hexagon patterns were really nice too. I know the feature tiles were so expensive but worth it I guess as it makes the bathrooms little bit more special/individual which is really good! Really exciting news though I hope this picky works as of yesterday we have a slab wahoo so happy never thought this day would arrive lol and to our massive surprise frames were delivered today when we went too look which is great but we still haven't been invoiced for the slab yet so maybe they will invoice both together but they are two different stages I'm not sure how it all works lol. Will make sense once you upload it to photobucket. Great news! Our file was released for construction yesterday morning and the peering was done yesterday afternoon! Great to see it all moving now. Supervisor told me the frames will be delivered one day and the builder there the next to put it up, that was the case with the other Hudson's in our area too. Our supervisor was very explicit in that he won't give us any dates for obvious reasons but said that basically once the house has been cleaned then it will be about 2 weeks from then.
