Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 12, 2015 11:10 am So we are almost at 5 months build time so far and we still don't even have our roof finished.. Granted we did loose a few weeks due to running out of our bricks but since then we have had perfect days but work is so slow and many days without anyone on site! Yet we see other Clarendon houses flying past us. Anyone else having these problems? Re: Building with Clarendon 3Aug 12, 2015 1:04 pm Hi DG, yes we are in Sydney too. Building at Jordon springs.. Omg why three months? Re: Building with Clarendon 4Aug 12, 2015 1:08 pm Clarendon can be useless, incompetent and have terrible communication skills. Yes there was some rain but we went a whole month with no work once they started the first row of bricks we started in January and have only just had lock up. Re: Building with Clarendon 5Aug 12, 2015 1:11 pm Oh that's horrible.. What I don't understand is how other Clarendon houses similar in size are getting done with no issues.. Re: Building with Clarendon 8Sep 08, 2015 2:43 pm I honestly believe it depends on your SS, we are 7 weeks in and we have bricks finished and roof getting installed this week along with eaves. Internals will start next week... Building the Clarendon Merriden 30 (44 after Mods) @ Harrington Grove! Re: Building with Clarendon 9Sep 30, 2015 11:02 am Hi Everyone... Could anyone please be able to give me the approximate costs of Clarendon facades for Madison or Creatmead 40 Home...I like the Gallery Façade on Madison 39 at Mango Hill... Thanks Re: Building with Clarendon 10Nov 09, 2015 9:00 pm Don't they list the facade upgrade costs somewhere on their site? I thought they did.. if not, you can always ask them directly. They're fixed costs unless you decide to customise the facade. Our SS indicates that brickwork should be finished this Fri, 5th Feb - which means about 9 weeks (including shutdown and about 9 days of rain). The brickies took a week off and recommenced bricking on Fri, 8th Jan. So over-all I'd say about around 7 weeks to date. It also probably helps that there's a couple of Clarendon houses being built in my area.
