Re: Coral Homes slightly modified Longreach 125Feb 08, 2016 7:44 am How's things going Coastal? I just saw your (?) dog in that photo peering in through the window. Oh wow. Beautiful! Re: Coral Homes slightly modified Longreach 126Feb 08, 2016 5:25 pm Yeh he's kept an eye on the entire build. Have you got your new puppy yet? Pci tomorrow morning and handover Thursday 18th Feb. Oh and another supervisor change. Re: Coral Homes slightly modified Longreach 127Feb 16, 2016 5:30 pm Handover is supposed to be Thursday. Painters and tiler been out and done there touch ups. Great work from them as usual But a bunch of stuff still needs doing and all needs to be completed tomorrow - numerous issues with the windows. Scratches on glass and frames, warped panels, missing fly screens, creased & torn fly screens screens. -site clean up -scratched shower frame -leaking HWS. I googled the brand and yeh more of that to come by the sounds of it. Don't purchase solar hot water through builder. Most use a rubbish brand As for the bank well... they've lost or forgotten something with each progress payment and this time they've forgotten to organise the valuer. Despite Mrs Coastal following up with them numerous times during the past 2 weeks to ensure it goes smoothly. Everything is organised for me to start the decking this Friday. My mistake to expect the handover to go smoothly. Thankfully, or I should say hopefully the build is almost over. Re: Coral Homes slightly modified Longreach 132Feb 21, 2016 5:41 pm Thanks Daz and Tribe. We have barely moved much in. We want to seal the tiles and grout first and we are waiting for the Windows to be fixed too. Re: Coral Homes slightly modified Longreach 134Mar 02, 2016 6:26 pm We've been flat out. Bearers are in for the deck but that had to move to bottom of the list as we moved in last Friday night Had friends stay for the weekend so not much work accomplished except a heap of cleaning Fans installed today. Still waiting on Windows to be fixed suprise suprise... Apparently Tuesday that will happen after the manager came out to inspect Monday. SS has been fantastic so far through that ordeal Back to deck this weekend and hopefully concreter boxing up driveway and path Saturday. Oh hopefully we receive curtain tracks Friday. That would be handy Coral Homes slightly modified Longreach 135Mar 04, 2016 8:48 pm Sounds like your smashing out the job list coastal. Isn't it mental you have to clean a brand new house from top to toe . What happened with your window? Ohhhhh I can't wait to see your deck, driveway will be awesome too. Hehehhe we have gone 6 months with no blind in our ensuite and every damn morning the sun burns my eyes out in bed . Not for much longer though mr t has brought me a present Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13771 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4346 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74708 |
