Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 17, 2015 11:45 am Hi All I have purchased unregistered land in Schofields NSW and I was just wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how long civil works took on their unregistered land. Then how long was it till it was all settled in your name. Thanks Re: How long did your unregistered land take 2Jun 17, 2015 12:10 pm bradles Hi All I have purchased unregistered land in Schofields NSW and I was just wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how long civil works took on their unregistered land. Re: How long did your unregistered land take 4Jun 17, 2015 12:44 pm Hi bradles, We signed a contract in early December 2014 when civil works had just commenced. They said expected titles was March/April 2015. I'm hoping it will be end of July 2015. It's a small development - 80 blocks. This was only a couple of months longer than what we were expecting. I have heard of others delayed for much longer than this.Good luck! Re: How long did your unregistered land take 7Jun 17, 2015 1:17 pm Thanks for all the replies. I'm trying to guess when it would be ready. Skyler we are in the Gardene estate on Alex ave and they started works in Feb. We have gutters down and some pipes and roads cut out but not laid. I'm trying to figure out how much longer it will be as initially it was May/June registration when we bought it last year, but that's no hope of happening. Hi Mofflepop, I would recommend finding a building designer to prepare plans, they should design to your specified budget. The benefit is you can tender the project out… 9 20354 No the fireplace doesn’t work. It’s been enclosed.
