Re: Building with Metricon 7426Jul 04, 2018 8:33 am We finished our pre plaster inspection last Thursday all was in order except for the plumber needing to secure the water pipes so no hammering occurs when water passes through. We have had a lot of progress since then ...there were 15 people inside the house and 10 people outside doing the Bricks. The plaster is completed with only the edges and gaps to be fine tuned. Bricks are well underway. Pics to follow..... As he said quiet often they don’t tighten it. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: Building with Metricon 7428Jul 04, 2018 3:36 pm Doulton777 excited_builders We finished our pre plaster inspection last Thursday all was in order except for the plumber needing to secure the water pipes so no hammering occurs when water passes through. Did you get your private inspector to check them? viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: Building with Metricon 7430Jul 04, 2018 7:58 pm Now I am worried too. when you say secure what is that means? it was mentioned in our report "plumbing penetrations are only partially silicone in areas, check and complate all penetrations" is this what you are talking about? we don't know this been fixed or not Re: Building with Metricon 7431Jul 04, 2018 8:02 pm Kandi Now I am worried too. when you say secure what is that means? it was mentioned in our report "plumbing penetrations are only partially silicone in areas, check and complate all penetrations" is this what you are talking about? we don't know this been fixed or not I’m not sure the terminology they use. All I know is that my private inspector went around and checked how tight the pipes were done. If they aren’t secured enough and felt loose. Then the plumbers would have to tighten them. But when he pulled on ours. He was surprised it wasn’t loose. Cos he reckons a lot of times when it’s not. You can hear a vibration in the wall. And that’s because it wouldn’t have been installed correctly. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: Building with Metricon 7432Jul 04, 2018 8:14 pm Doulton777 Kandi Now I am worried too. when you say secure what is that means? it was mentioned in our report "plumbing penetrations are only partially silicone in areas, check and complate all penetrations" is this what you are talking about? we don't know this been fixed or not I’m not sure the terminology they use.
