My KDR Metricon Hampshire - Liberty - 45 Melb https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?share_ ... are_type=t I tried. But the one we wanted was only at the store m gets it from. As it was exclusive to carpet call. We also tried to deal with them direct. But they were the same price. Made no difference. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: Building with Metricon 6183Sep 22, 2017 7:19 pm Which one did u get? I think it’s BS because they said the same thing to me I have had a state manager of carpet call called M to confirm. We double checked it with the store sample against the Somerset display home. Its the American one where everything sits on top. Cashmere carpet it has a 20 or 25 year warranty I even went to carpet court and they didn't have it. And places that sell carpets. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: Building with Metricon 6185Sep 22, 2017 7:44 pm Doulton777 Drew01 Doulton777 We have spotted gum flooring now. It's one of the nicest I reckon. So it's a good choice. We went with Spotted Gum engineered hardwood with M, as they were about $12k cheaper than one of my mates who is on the industry. We love the colours in it vs the laminate flooring equivalent that if you see a box laid you can pick the repeat in the printing of the grain pattern Yes it's a very nice flooring. You won't regret it. If you decide to do it. Consider the texture you out on it. You can get the Matt look. Or the high gloss. I reckon high gloss makes it looks more classier. There's pros and cons to everything. So research it first. Look at different pic and designs with them all so you know what texture you want. Me personally I don't prefer the Matt look. But it's meant to be tougher and not scratch easy. But the high gloss look. Looks so much better and gives a real nice look too it. But it depends on what your taste is. The Polyurethane – Water-Based is suppose to be more of hard wearing. I have had both. But far for me I prefer the high gloss look. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Here are some pictures of our spotted gum engineered wood floor we did through M if it helps with decisions. When I did my knockdown, there was no NBN connections in the area. The street has now been connected to NBN HFC and lead-in cables connected to all the houses, but obviously nothing to my property as there was not a finished house there at the time. Metricon have now put the conduit to the street for the NBN service, but has anyone had experience in what needs to happen to get an actual service installed in the conduit into the home ready to pick an ISP? Did M organise the NBN pre-installation so it was ready when moving in, or did you have to do it yourself after handover, and how long did it take? Thanks in advance! Re: Building with Metricon 6191Sep 22, 2017 9:23 pm Hi all We got told at our kitchen appointment that for floating vanities, we can have only 240mm high from the floor if we want to have functional drawers and cupboards. Is this the case for everyone?. I thought I have seen in this forum bit higher that that with drawers. Has any one got higher than this? And we've tried to tie in furniture to different colours in the floor. Can't wait to see it all come together. Re: Building with Metricon 6195Sep 22, 2017 11:42 pm PVBuild VMGlendale37 Thanks Drew.
