Ooooh I love the Vantage we were going to build it too...but changed to the Metro...ah well What made the change from Hampshire to Vantage? Re: Building with Metricon 4843Mar 11, 2017 11:01 am emmyawards Just got an updated estimate from our sales consultant and he said that Metricon are now offering insulation between ground and first floor. I assume he means a cheaper non hebel powerfloor. Hallelujah! What promo is this? Does it matter if you have signed months ago? Ooooh I love the Vantage we were going to build it too...but changed to the Metro...ah well What made the change from Hampshire to Vantage? Originally we sent a floor plan of what we wanted to Metricon and asked if they had anything similar to it and they told us the Hampshire. When we went aaaalll the way to see it in Greenvale there was also a Vantage there. We thought the upstairs was a lot more in line with what we wanted meaning less structural changes and less cost. I got quoted $12500 for the hebel powerfloor on the Hampshire 42 and $3650 for the acoustic insulation on the Vantage 46. We just want a simple one with no balcony. I'm more concerned with inside looks than outside but I guess we better look properly. Is everyone who is about to break dirt getting a Waffle Slab in their contract? Since M has had some legal issues with the Waffle Slab in some of the build, I have heard that some people are given the option to upgrade their Waffle to a Raft Slab. Has anyone heard of this or upgraded to this? Re: Building with Metricon 4852Mar 11, 2017 2:27 pm Renman Too Waffle Slab or Not Too Waffle Slab!
