Electrician took care of it at my house.

Wondering if anyone could shed some light on roughly how much the following would cost: - upgrade to category 5 brick - moonshadow (selkirk) - porcelain polished tiles 600mm x 600mm - surface area roughly 90-100sqm (dining/family/entry/kitchen/buttler's pantry/laundry) We have some provisions in our original estimate ~ 10k tiles, ~10k carpets and wondering how far this would go. Thanks Beautiful house jmor4221, cant help with tiles but i believe you would e touching ~12-15k for carpet.. if you go cat3+ which you may have to because Cat3+ are stair friendly. Can't give your a flooring tiles cost but we porcelain 600x300 floor to ceiling and herringbone mosaic on the featured walls for $33K. Cat 5 carpet with M costed us $28K, so we decided to go with Carpet Call and got the same ones for $20K. Hope that helps. Re: Building with Metricon 5038Apr 10, 2017 5:43 am qldben Went by my site this evening, and looks like tiling to the interiors has already been completed, and including the outdoor area! Our cute little kitchen splashback has also been completed. The same choice of tile carries over to the laundry as well, of which we couldnt get pics, as our laundry door is completely opaque. Wow looks fantastic qldben. Looks like your almost to the finish line. That's awesome Re: Building with Metricon 5039Apr 10, 2017 8:40 am Thanks for the replies Renman and Skami. Carpet we will probably stick with cat 1/2. We have opted for a stair case upgrade - wood (no carpet) so hopefully can stick with a lower category on the carpet. From what my untrained eye can see, its just the carpets, interior cleaning, brick cleaning, silicon/caulking, and final touchups. If its all done within this month, it would mean a site start of early December, followed by Xmas break, and and finish within 5 months for a 2 storey. This includes all flooring, electricals, carpets. Then starts the difficult part for driveway, fencing, landscaping.
