Read a lot of post people even have slab party, wondering how they do that! Does anyone visit the site by yourself without SM? Tungfai looks like aloof things are done differently in SA. I don't think that's the case in Mel and in Syd Glendale 39 build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=83907 Re: Building with Metricon 3390Aug 01, 2016 12:56 am Sizz_G39 tungfai Recently signed the contract, there is a clause saying we cannot visit the site without site manager otherwise heavy penalty will apply. Building with Metricon 3393Aug 02, 2016 10:43 pm Guys , I received a call from Metricon saying they stuffed up on my entry door . Well that's not exactly what my BSC said . she started the conversation by saying it is very confusing that your contract says your front door is 820 mm wide and also 920 mm wide . it's too late to change now . Are we supposed to say it's ok? Instead of apologising she kept saying the contract is confusing . What's everyone's opinion on this? Why it is too late to change now? Do you just change the frame and maybe get a smaller glass Panel? Do you just change the frame and maybe get a smaller glass Panel? Do you have a copy of the drawings? Assuming your entrance is at least 920mm wide then I would definitely hold your ground and tell them to fix it. I would stick to your guns in this one and maybe even ask her to raise with her manager. Re: Building with Metricon 3396Aug 03, 2016 10:17 am Tell M it's easier and to avoid confusion if they give you a 1200mm door instead? @Orph Build thread: viewtopic.php?t=78328 Home Furniture: viewtopic.php?t=80551 Technology Hub: viewtopic.php?t=83663 Landscape Design: viewtopic.php?t=80645 Orpheus Building the Metricon Glendale 38|Sydney Building with Metricon 3397Aug 03, 2016 11:26 am Thanks for responding everyone. My contracsays 920 mm, drawing says 820mm, I have upgraded the door which result in a variation . In this variation , it says drafting note , increase to 920 mm.
My BSC and SM called this morning says we are paying for the 920 door at the moment ,Someone made a typo. They are offering me $200 credit for the price difference. I told them what you guys told me. SM give me two options 1 )take the $200 and live with 820mm door 2) he will rip apart the entrance and give me 920 mm door but expect at least 4 to 5 weeks delay. I told him can't you reduce the glass panel and increase the door size ? He said it is a cheap fix and would recommend . What would you guys do ?
