Or does it sit on the other edge? The shower screen will hopefully cover it. Will see it at PCI I guess, unless I can get in sooner Re: K & L's HGWA Build Baldivis 663Jun 20, 2016 11:07 pm Thank you Jasmine, Robina, Kellie and StarGirl! I am so in love with my kitchen!! I keep imagining where everything is going to go! Can't wait to start cooking!! There is only one thing about the kitchen that I missed. When we changed the plan to add the double ovens two pot drawers were added. And I'm pretty sure I won't be able to fit a pot in there! They should do it right the first time though! Re: K & L's HGWA Build Baldivis 666Jun 20, 2016 11:18 pm Ohhh it looks like they may now be baking tray draws! Wish we went with dark grout instead Re: K & L's HGWA Build Baldivis 671Jun 23, 2016 9:31 pm Thanks Shannon and Paishe! Im glad you guys think so There are some amazing kitchens on here and it makes you wonder if you have chosen the right things! Re: K & L's HGWA Build Baldivis 672Jun 26, 2016 11:58 am Wow loving the kitchen and bathrooms, lovely selections. Have enjoyed catching up, glad to see things are coming along nicely K & L's HGWA Build Baldivis 674Jul 03, 2016 12:51 pm I thought I would give everybody an update on my build. Not a lot happening at the moment. I honestly don't think there is much to do all. We can't be too far away from PCI. I think HGWA builds nice houses but their communication is severely lacking. We are currently renting and will need to give 3 weeks notice to vacate, plus we are organising a lot after handover but I can't book anything in because I don't know dates. It's actually very frustrating. But we aren't happy with how you can see the roller door. Looks like instead of moving a power point, they decide to leave it lower. Don't know why it takes so long at this part of the build. Your house looks great. Love the half mirror doors and your black doors they look amazing. Also love your front door. Re: K & L's HGWA Build Baldivis 677Jul 04, 2016 6:31 pm Looking good Mrs MP, not much left to do - it's frustrating that this bit seems to take a while though! We understand things take time, and we aren't pushing for them to finish sooner. We just want a quality build really. Re: K & L's HGWA Build Baldivis 679Jul 04, 2016 8:22 pm Looks good MrsMaccaPacca We wanted a quality build as well but still told them you can't build quality if no one is there! Lol. Re: K & L's HGWA Build Baldivis 680Jul 04, 2016 8:23 pm We are in the same boat and getting frustrated too. We were first told end of June then middle of July and have asked for an actual date but they will not give it too us! I would be fine if they just kept us updated on what was delaying them so we could have some kind of understanding Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17518 thank you! do we need to get this or our builder before we commence new build on the block? 2 10404 Hi, did you get any money from insurance? if you did, does it match what you've already paid the builders? 3 9559 |
