Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 10, 2015 10:49 am Hello
So,,, much like everyone else, i have looked through practically everyone's posts and progress photos and have received so much information from this forum, so i thought i should put some input in myself and hope i can learn more and maybe help some people along the way. Myself and my husband are building in Brabham with Homebuyers Centre. I can not praise Homebuyers enough, from day dot we felt comfortable with the sales guy (Ivano ). This was important as we were going to go with another builder, but felt pushed and pressured, not comfortable at all. Ivano was a breath of fresh air for us and made the whole process so easy. Pre-start was a breeze and we spent very little money. Our house is very basic, but that is all we can stretch to this time round. HBC have moved very fast with land titled in Feb, we now have our slab down just last week. I'm so impressed with their progress and their communication with us has been constant with phone calls and emails. I have not had to chase them up about a thing. Once i learn how to post pics i will. I'm looking forward to chatting with you all, i feel like i know you all already Sign up for land - Oct 2014 Titles - Feb 2015 Pre-start - Apr 2015 Siteworks - May 2015 SLAB - 5th June 2015 Bricks delivered - 27th June Timber roof started - 11th Aug Electrical Plumbing Completed - 29th August Roof tiles started - 30th August Roof tiles completed - 4th September Grey float completed - 6th September Ceilings started - 10th September Re: Whiteman Edge - HBC 2Jun 10, 2015 11:20 am Im building with HBC as well. Also wanted a bit of a garden.

Tip, we moved all powerpoints to inside walls so we can install more powerpoints ourselves on the outside walls at no extra cost at prestart. Love the practical designs of HBC, nothing over the top, everything you need, nothing you dont Re: Whiteman Edge - HBC 7Jun 10, 2015 12:12 pm Thanks jlo, you are so right, they guide you through everything they think you may need. Our sales guy really got to know us, just through asking questions, and really helped us with what he thought we would need and like at planning and prestart. Re: Whiteman Edge - HBC 8Jun 10, 2015 12:17 pm My siteworks started March 31 and they're just about to put the colorbond on my roof. They've been so quick with my build so far, and everything looks great. Hope yours goes well too! Re: Whiteman Edge - HBC 9Jun 12, 2015 12:09 am Hello neighbour! I know we are all a distance of that yet, but i'm a forward thinker (over thinker) and like to have an idea in my head. I'm hoping to be in my Christmas, do you think that is a bit ambitious?
