Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Redbank at North Richmond NSW 22Feb 07, 2016 6:54 pm It was mentioned that all the dirt behind the blocks there are moving. They are being used for the park and will be moved soon. We have a giant mound behind our block also down the other end of the street. Building Wisdom Homes Serenity 31 Re: Redbank at North Richmond NSW 26Feb 10, 2016 12:33 pm I would wait till registration then and let them make an assessment. They obviously haven't quite finished yet and there is still a little bit to be done. I just know the dirt behind our block is getting used for the park and was mentioned on saturday that it will be gone by the time we start building. My wife and I actually purchased way back Easter last year for stage 2 Mt View lot 168 first time buyers and builders hoping to make redbank our long term home Actually went out there yesterday to take a look and looks like progress is going alright just wished they'd hurry up already considering we were originally told January than May and now August but apparently was always May? anyway all good fun Sadly we missed the meet your neighbors day so hopefully can meet you all at a later date Re: Redbank at North Richmond NSW 31Mar 31, 2016 11:14 am Congrats Justin_B!!! We are in Yobarnie and like yourself are looking for redbank to be our long term home By the sounds of it, Mt View got pushed back a little because of the terrible weather we had before Christmas. We are eagerly awaiting registration which should be in the next week or so. We've hit a little rd block with our house though, Wisdoms payment schedule doesn't meet some requirements with LMI so we are trying to negotiate things there. Bit stressful but looking forward to starting the build to be honest!!!!! Just want to be in already!!!! Building Wisdom Homes Serenity 31 Re: Redbank at North Richmond NSW 32Mar 31, 2016 1:32 pm Thanks Kirst10! Yeah they told us it was due to rain, the up side of the rain pushing it back meant that we can get out of LMI, bloody hate LMI really doesnt help any young buyers, that and banks not explaining processes very well and confusing the crap out of you... yeah banks are worse than LMI i think haha Yeah on Redbanks FB page it sounded like Yobarnie is almost ready for building, hope its a quick build for all of those in stage 1 Can't wait to see progress being made in stage 1 makes stage 2 feel closer What was the expected build time for those in Yobarnie? Re: Redbank at North Richmond NSW 33Apr 02, 2016 12:43 pm Very lucky to be getting out of having to pay LMI Justin_b! Luckily ours isn't too much but still a decent chunk that we would prefer not to have to pay. Still waiting on wisdom to see if they will change their structure...really putting us back. I hope it's a quick build too! We'll be in trouble if wisdom don't change their payment structure as we'll have to start the process again with another builder. Hoping once we get started it will be 5-6 months as we are only building a single story. I was hoping to be in by chrissy but not sure now. Building Wisdom Homes Serenity 31 Re: Redbank at North Richmond NSW 34Apr 05, 2016 9:39 am Question how does the builders payment structure affect LMI? dont they all just make you pay in stages and by then your loan would be set up with the bank? At least thats how i understood it Actually took the in-laws out there on Saturday was obviously no change in the land however went to Stage 1 while i was there and noticed someone obviously messed up and hit a water main or something, didnt know stage 1 came with free water fountain haha Re: Redbank at North Richmond NSW 35Apr 05, 2016 10:27 am Who we are building with has the payment structure of 5%, 25%, 20%, 20%, 20% and 10%. LMI requirements state that the first 2 payments cannot exceed 20% and ours comes to 30%. I need the builder to shuffle round the 10% we are over into other stages and they don't want to. Basically they are asking for too much in the early stages and LMI/Bank wont hand that much over. If we didnt have to pay LMI we would have any issues. Oh god, I hope it wasn't near my block! I dont need a mud pit, I'm putting in a pool myself! Were you able to get on the land? Building Wisdom Homes Serenity 31 Re: Redbank at North Richmond NSW 36Apr 05, 2016 10:51 am oh wow ok, wasnt aware that was even a thing, couldnt you just use your own money to pay the extra 10%? seems a bit silly to structure it that way the gates were open however i didn't go in i just looked from the fence (over near the park side) and the water fountain was actually on the park side of the road so didnt really touch the blocks, just checking out the trees they put in Re: Redbank at North Richmond NSW 37Apr 22, 2016 10:07 am Seems we are getting closer to registration!! We have signed our building contract with Wisdom and are excited to get on to the next stage of picking our colours!!
