Re: Our first home with BTH – Ocean Road Estate 110Sep 02, 2015 11:21 pm ak11 Yay Jess you're on here! Yeah hand it over to Carla - she's got a flair for this stuff. Can't wait to see your final plans will you start a thread once you sign the final contract? Given my addiction to this site i would say definitely yes to my own thread ahah! We are pretty much done with our plans, just a couple of little bits and pieces that our sales consultant said we could change at pre-start.. just have to sell our house now so we can get moving!! Your place seems to be progressing nicely, fingers crossed this nice weather stays around for you! Although it has helped me with a lot - so it's a healthy addiction. I can't wait to see your plans. ️ I know, I'm really hoping the weather holds out. The garage walls are up and the majority of the internal walls are now complete. Panorama of the living area / kitchen Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our narrow entry hallway. This still keeps me up at night. I think it's way too narrow and I'm regretting my decision to increase the size of my WIR / bedroom which meant room had to be taken from the hallway.... Oops. The OH thinks I'm obsessing over nothing haha. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I even made him stand to prove that a person can fit haha. At least it's motivation not to put on weight? The bricks are deceiving at that stage, everything looks small! The WIR is much more practical use of space, does your garage door swing in? That might be the only time it's a problem, any wide furniture you can take through your back doors! The hallway is occupied temporarily in passing, extra space for clothes is forever ;P Haha you're right Jess! It's nice to be reassured! You've made me feel better The garage door will swing inwards but it swings to the right so the only area that will be blocked off is our bedroom which isn't an issue as we will be the only ones who go down there.
