Hi Summer, have another look of your selection.

Love your tile splash back (mosaic Lateran ) , are they cat 1, so no upgrade cost ?

Also , can you teach me how to mark up the facade colour like u do ?

Melilly, They said they can't physically make that time frame.I'm really disappointed

. They should tell their Sales people to not make any promises they can't do in time.I'm just angry because december is a holiday month and basically they won't start until the next year. Although they assured me that there will be workers working, well we will see.

Scott, thank you. We didn't pay anything extra for the tiles so I'm sure it's Cat 1.I think only if you go fully tiled you might paymore. We went with the standard layout. But I'm thinking of tiling one wall in the P.R after handover. I hope this helps you.

And you are right there isn't so much to choose from sadly. But I think they will come with a few more designs soon. Just a bummer when you already done your selections and can't change it anymore

I really like the tiles, I went to a display were they had it in the kitchen to see how it will look as a Backsplash and I really like it, but maybe the ones I seen might have been the shiny ones, I really like that matt though.I never thought I would go with tiles in the kitchen but I think we done the right choice

we saved money by not going with the other Backsplash products they had.

Hey Scott yeah we are pretty happy with our kitchen selections. But at our tender we made some few changes and now the document doesn't really show our riven finish, so after contract signing I will look into this

I have seen you posted a question about cabinetry change in the Carlisle thread, what kind of change do you mean by that ? like the colours and finishes or the way the cabinetry is made like i.e kitchen style ?

However, I know CH won't do that........... So actually we are only after some easy change , like waste bin , increase O/h cupboard height etc......

BTW , Summer , do you know what is exactly the difference Riven and Nuance finish?

Also , do you get the tender document send to you to review before hand ? E.g 1 day before tender appointment?

Regarding waste bin and Cupboards, we went with the Hafale Euro Cargo 45 Pull out bins that comes with 2. 35L bins for 713 bucks. Regarding Cupboards If you dont have a window as your Splash back I think they are able to increase the height for you.

Oh yeah the Riven and the Nuance, that was my question for my CLE if it's the same or not, she never told me. But lucky when I started reading through the Contract I noticed that our Cupboards are still Riven finish so I'm very happy about it. It stated in the new Tender that it was Nuance so maybe the whole thing is called Nuance like the range ? Or maybe both are ranges, I tried to google the differences but I couldn't find an answer, all I found was that both are timber-look ranges.

We got an email 1 day before our Tender app, with the document and I tried as quick as I can to go through it, but as you can see there wasnt so much time because I totally dismissed the internal doors, I'm so furious about, if we have to keep these doors I'm going to be super unhappy, I think this all happen because hubby was talking about all these doors and Jayde must have gotten confused of all these names

and hubby joked about this particular door.Guess that was the door that got stuck in the head.

anyways I really hope we can change it

So I done a new Kitchen colour mock up because I'd like to change the wall colour from beige royal ( it's just too beige )

to Taupe white and the Frames would be Taupe white 1/4. I also did one with he raw concrete maybe it will suit the wall colour more than the fresh concrete ( f. concrete is way more whiter than the picture shows) what do you think ?

At Tender we changed our Rangehood,so it will be under the cupboard.Now my question should we move the second shelve to the outer side (right) ?

Hi MrsSummer, I'm also looking at the Sorrento 39 but noticed that the WIL wall has been extended out to half of the stairs due to the length of the house. As CH only have the 43's on display, do you think the WIL wall and the beam in the living area will make the entry to the stairs feel a bit enclosed?

Hello Pearz, unfortunately no they pushed it to Jan, actually we haunt gotten our Permit yet the council is being lazy because christmas...have been waiting for this almost 2 months now...So Carlisle can't do anything until they receive that. And a date for Jan hasnt even been given not sure might even be late Jan. So not happy with this but what can we do. Stupid council

I'm back we have started at the end of Jan, now we are at the end of framing stage yaay

been a heck of a few weeks but it's nice to see some progress, having our inspection in 2 days.
Lets see if there are any faults...
