Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 01, 2015 1:04 pm We are at the very early stages of a knock down and rebuild. We have a floor plan and a home (of a volume builder) that we really like. But we don't like their facade options. If we get an un-rendered flat facade, can we get the facade done separately? Are there any facade specialists? Re: Provincial Facade 3Jun 01, 2015 1:49 pm It depends on what you have in mind. When builders talk about facade options, they usually involve much more than just the finish on the front wall. They often change the roof and windows. You could just render it yourself after handover, but I'm guessing you must want more than just changes to the render. You'll want all the roof, walls and windows to be right, as that's hand to change afterwards. I'd say the best approach is to show the builder exactly what facade you are after, and see if they can fit it to the design, and how much they want to charge for it. The Dulux colour consultants are awesome. If you show them the photos they should be able to figure it out for you straight away 1 1618 Dear Members I have to decide the Facade column size.
