Hopefully there are some easy fixes there. Keep on them, you'll eventually get there!! It's not just us then?? Wow I still (despite having so many issues ourselves) find it unbelievable how terrible the quality of workmanship is! How can people not take pride in their work. And how can SM's and CM's allow things to get that bad?? Have you escalated? What is M's position on sorting all this stuff out? Really feeling your pain and frustration... Re: Metricon Laguna 40 Kingston Sydney Northern Beaches 1206May 31, 2017 10:00 pm M & T that's what I thought but I have two about two meters apart. Yep supposedly manager is involved but when people come and fix things they only do half the job. After escalating the laundry chute issue again, SM said that is was declined. So I made it clear I would send him all the email trails and if that didn't get it all approved then I will be escalating to State manager who I have previously meet face to face. They turn up on site and do their job with no SM onsite most of the time so they do what they think should be done get paid and move on. For example, I happened to be onsite the day they were doing plaster at mine and they were just boarding up areas that didn't even have insulation. Even worse, bits of insulation were falling out and they weren't even bothering to put it back in. Terrible standard of building. Makes we want to just save all these pics to an ipad and then stand outside kellyville on a weekend and show people this is how they cut corners and cost on their builds. Build thread: http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78995[/quote] I asked about encasing the 26L Thermann and having it recessed like i this pic from a neighbour who did a Custom Build. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I was told M do recess them like this but only where you are in a coastal area due to the salt. I said ok, how much for an upgrade and they said well there'll be an Admin fee of $1.5k. *sigh* So I gave up and thought I'll wait till it breaks and put in a proper Rheem 32L one and get it encased then rather than spend that. Whilst we're discussing Hot water heaters... Did you know that under their current Standard inclusions, if you have a house with 3 or more bathrooms in the STANDARD design, they will provide an additional water heater unit. That means by implication that people like me who converted their powder room to have a shower (so 3 bathrooms with showers in total) essentially have an underpowered system with the current 26L Thermann.
