Is there a cheaper alternative to stack-stone? We want to clad a feature wall outside where i plan to put in a humble water feature infront, but am finding stone cladding to be min $50 sqm! Anyone have any other ideas? Hope you don't mind me asking OM Just while we're all discussing it... _______________________ KEYYYSSS!! ~ 14/10/15 viewtopic.php?t=72518 Our Build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=72518 Re: Our first home with Summit - Lighting pics!! 963Dec 22, 2015 7:41 am DC I'd love to know too I was surprised at how expensive it was! We only wanted it for the outside shower and it was extortionate. Not sure whether it was only because it was 'builder's margin' but geez we're too poor for that lol Our first home with Summit - Lighting pics!! 964Dec 22, 2015 6:34 pm MalSannie DC I'd love to know too I was surprised at how expensive it was! We only wanted it for the outside shower and it was extortionate. Not sure whether it was only because it was 'builder's margin' but geez we're too poor for that lol Mal after endless research cheapest i found was Artistic Stone in Malaga. $59.95 per sqm!! Half the price of Bunnings and many others. Different colours too! And their pebbles and river stones are also cheaper than Bunnings! _______________________ KEYYYSSS!! ~ 14/10/15 viewtopic.php?t=72518 Our Build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=72518 Our first home with Summit - Lighting pics!! 965Jan 04, 2016 11:02 pm Thanks everyone and Happy New Year to you all!! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and hope you had lots of progress on your builds, looking forward to catching up on them soon! Thanks for the info DC, will probably be looking at getting pebbles or river stones soon so that's good to know. Our building journey viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77582 Our first home with Summit - WIR pics!! 966Jan 09, 2016 2:37 pm Our WIR was finally installed on Thursday . I am really happy with how it all came out and I love how it goes all the way to the bulkhead. Loving the shoe rack too . We are going to have a full length mirror as a door on the shoe rack but the mirror was not ready so they will come back and install it next week. I can't wait to see it. We used Lifestyle Wardrobes and they did a good job. Here are some pics but they don't do justice to it as it doesn't fit on one pic!! I can't wait to fill it up. Our mirror door was installed this week and it finishes it off nicely . Now I can finally move all the clothes from the other bedrooms, how exciting! We even bought all new hangers, they have to be the same colour throughout, lol. Nothing much to report on the landscaping! I can't wait to have the letterbox and planter box built then we can have the front landscaping done. Will be organising that soon! I must say its a nice feeling to be in your own house and we are really enjoying it . Looking forward to seeing your landscaping too when it starts! Re: Our first home with Summit - WIR pics!! 980Jan 17, 2016 10:32 am Huggy_B Can I ask how long and wide your WIR is approx? Trying to get a feel for how big mine will be and I have a similar style to yours. It's 4930 by 1240. I was concerned about the width as well before the fit out but now that its in, it's perfect. There is enough space to walk freely. I think our sales consultant mentioned that the standard width should be 1200 from memory Our building journey viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77582 So it looks like we finally have some movement on site!
