Re: Our first home build in Calleya with Summit homes 53Jun 01, 2015 10:27 am MalSannie Congratulations on a tap and siteworks starting! How exciting Love your plan and your kitchen and ensuite are going to be amazing and the feature stone wall! Looking forward to following your build. Thanks MalSannie, very exciting indeed! I love the feature stone wall as well, but it won't be that big on the portico it's only 3 courses across the top part. We are using the same stone for cladding the fireplace wall, hope it will look nice in the living room, I was having second thoughts about using the stone cladding inside but hubby wanted it that way and I am now loving it . I love your fireplace recess, it's a nice feature! Are you using stone or tiles for your fireplace cladding? Our building journey viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77582 Re: Our first home build in Calleya with Summit homes 54Jun 01, 2015 10:34 am jelbell55 Gorgeous choices!!!! I love all your selections Love the idea with the contrasting cupboards in your kitchen too!!! Congrats on site works... things seem to be moving very quickly for you!!! Thanks jelbell. I was having second thoughts about the second colour too after prestart, was thinking of making it all white but we both had loved the idea when we saw it in the display home and decided to go for it just to have something a bit different The site works were nice surprise this weekend and I hope things keep moving fast from now onwards. It just seems so slow when you have to wait for titles and the paperwork but now it looks like we are progressing nicely Our building journey viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77582 Re: Our first home build in Calleya with Summit homes 55Jun 01, 2015 10:39 am jang25 whoop whoop they have started your sitework gorgeous kitchen selections.. Our building journey viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77582 Re: Our first home build in Calleya with Summit homes 58Jun 02, 2015 1:22 am Following! Great design and I love all your colour selections. I'm stressing about all our colour choices. 😰 Re: Our first home build in Calleya with Summit homes 59Jun 02, 2015 2:14 am I'm jealous of your feature stone cladding for the fireplace I love it! It was a little bit too expensive so we'll have a plain rendered and painted fireplace surround. Was considering white/light the same as the other walls will be, but have seen some pics on pinterest that showed some soot so it'll probably be a dark grey. But who knows, by the time the house is done we might have decided on something else entirely! Re: Our first home build in Calleya with Summit homes 60Jun 02, 2015 8:51 pm chadtyn Following! Great design and I love all your colour selections. I'm stressing about all our colour choices. 😰 Thanks Chadtyn . I am sure your colour choices will be ok, it's just hard to visualise how it will look when you are using small samples but I am sure it will be ok once it's all finished . I was stressing about mine too and I changed my mind once but now I just convince myself that it will all come together lol, I can't change anything now anyway. Our building journey viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77582 Congratulations on your slab! Shame about the laundry plumbing but I'm sure they'll make good. 11 34145 We already paid for somfy motors for the blinds.
