Those agapanthus will grow lovely and big in your gardens. Oh your a clever sausage with the top soil leveler, I wish I had one I did mine with the rake flipped over to the solid side The rocks are great for the drainage, is there a storm water grate to catch the run off closest to the house? Re: Our Hillview build 424Jan 12, 2016 1:59 am That looks amazing - you've worked so hard!!! Great job. Sorry I've been MIA. The turf has settled in nicely but we notice it doesn't grow very well shade so that's a bit disappointing but we're going to give it a bit more time. The gardens are growing nicely but almost died during the heat in January. Some plant food did well then. We have heaps of homes going up around us at the moment and this place is taking off. You have done a lot around yours. I wouldn't worry too much about the lawn should come back with some rain. The front looks lovely with the retaining and lawn. Thanks for picture updates, was wondering how you guys were going. It's much better now and is starting to settle in. We have been buying a yates lawn food from Bunnings on good weeks to try and give it a perk up here and there and are noticing a huge difference when we do. The frozen mornings here and starting to hurt some patches but i'm learning to let stuff go and just be happy. Here are some pictures of most recently. We have since removed the woodchip from the entry garden and replaced it all with white rock. We found anytime we got a storm the woodchip would wash further and further down the garden and we would have to place it back at the top. We need to pick some plants to put in the garden in front of the spare bedrooms at the front of the house - when we have some spare time and money LOL I want to build a timber slat screen where our garage bins are and have them hide behind there, possibly plant some little ferns in front too? What has everyone else been up to? I took the covers off the cushions and sewn some very classic grey covers for it. Removed the ugly back cushions - all the cushions had old lady floral tapestry patterns on it and it just wasn't going to work. Sanded down the whole lounge and stained to match the doors. Michael also extended the legs on it - you can probably see the joins lol.
