Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 19, 2015 12:39 am My lot is rectangular with 3m high retaining wall at the rear/back. The width of the lot is 15m. 3 weeks ago the builder started site works - they excavated nearly the entire width of the lot right next to the retaining wall at the back. I was back yesterday and noticed that the builder filled the excavation - now my question: what is the purpose of that excavation?
