Good question about the downpipe I just noticed it myself. Haha Tribe - Those questions ppl ask you are so crazy! Wow would have love to be a fly on the wall and watch your reaction . viewtopic.php?t=78985 Re: Our Brisbane Barkly Build - Countdown to HANDOVER 362Feb 02, 2016 10:03 pm Argh that downpipe! I'm kind of used to it now but it was a shock at first. I guess on the plans you can't tell that it is sticking out because they don't show drain pipe locations. I asked our SS about it but he said that's what's done when it goes over cladding. We'll be replacing it with a normal one don't you worry! I can't see why a normal one can't go over cladding (other than M waited until after the pipes were in to paint the cladding!) - our old house was all weatherboard up top and had normal follow the curve of the eave and house style pipes Building a Metricon Barkly 29 in North Brisbane - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77396 Re: Our Brisbane Barkly Build - Countdown to HANDOVER 363Feb 03, 2016 8:35 am House is looking fantastic Chaton. Not sure I have ever noticed a downpipe installed like that but then, I don't go looking at downpipes in specific lol. We have one the comes down over the cladding and then over brick... OH.. And did you hear that Tesla have finally released the Power Wall? http://www.solahart.com.au/solar-power/ ... rwall.aspx Cheers, Paul (& Lisa) Parkhill 36 by ClarendonHomes in Coomera Retreat H1 Build Thread And Blog Building Blogs List - Go Ahead And Add Yours!! Re: Our Brisbane Barkly Build - Countdown to HANDOVER 364Feb 03, 2016 9:37 am Thanks Roomeat - your pipe looks much better! Perhaps its because we're a "Home Solutions" build which is the cheaper Metricon range? Who knows! But yes we will change it soon! Yep - Powerwalls are rolling out. Haven't heard from Tesla about our reservation yet but will see - solar is being installed on the 12th!! You shouldn't have to pay to have that corrected at all, I showed mr t last night and he wasn't impressed, said make them fix it Re: Our Brisbane Barkly Build - Countdown to HANDOVER 366Feb 03, 2016 1:37 pm Might talk to them at handover, but since we've already signed our PCI docs not sure they'll do it.
